ShimSham000's MR73 Revolver is an excellent addition to Fallout 4, with a similar but distinct appearance to the vanilla .44 pistol, it blends in well with Fallout aesthetic. This mod simply adjusts the original to be more in-line with Fallout 4's vanilla balance and mechanics. The mod does the following:
- Changes the name of the MR73 to the Target Pistol, and adds it to the game's default Instance Naming Rules. - Lowers the weapons damage to 38 from 55. - Lowers the weapons rate of fire. - Lowers the weapons value from 1000 to 100. - Increases the weapons VATS Cost to 25 from 15. - Lowers the weapons critical damage multiplier from 4 to 2.5. - Changes the weapons aim model to be slightly more accurate than the .44 pistol. - Reduces the weapons recoil to less than the .44 pistol. - Changes the weapons modifications to more or less resemble vanilla Fallout 4. - Changes the weapons constructible object recipes to more or less resemble vanilla Fallout 4. - Adds an advanced receiver. - Changes ammo used to .357 Magnum from Munitions.
To be clear this mod is only necessary, if like me you obsessively want to everything to blend well with Fallout 4's vanilla weapon sandbox.
