Version 1.0
Release
Thing333 did an amazing job with bringing a modern "tactical" weapon into the vanilla style visually but I found the balance to be a little wacky so these are my personal tweaks to match the vanilla approach to balance and be as compatible as possible.
Changes:
- The MP5 now does 24 base damage to make it a stepping stone between the vanilla smg and combat rifle which I felt worked with it spawning at level 10
- Receivers now match the vanilla naming conventions and match in how they buff and debuff the damage and fire rate (e.g. automatic receiver decreases damage for fire-rate (I know a lot of people don't like this method of balancing but this mod is aimed at matching vanilla balance and so that's how I'm doing it.))
- Optional: "MP5" is now named the "Wasteland SMG" to match the Fallout series naming conventions and the weapons lovely jury-rigged aesthetic
