40K Goff Shoota wiff Blade
After playing the game "Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef" I decided to make another Ork Shoota and release it out for all the fans of the Boyz to have, use and enjoy. :)
A Shoota is a kinetic, automatic ballistic weapon used by the Orks that is chosen not for its efficiency but for the amount of noise it makes and the amount of damage it can do. The best Shootas are deafening and deadly in equal measure.
There is no standard design for a Shoota, as most are hand-crafted by Mekboyz and "kustomized" by their owners, so although they may conform to a general pattern, no two Shootas will look the same. A Shoota fires either massive, large calibre bullets or explosive shells, or even a mixture of both.
As is the case with most Ork weapons, Shootas are crude but surprisingly effective. A Shoota is considered a good weapon by a Greenskin if it fires a burst of shots at once and makes a lot of noise. A loud noise is very important in any consideration of the quality of a Shoota, as many Orks believe that the louder a weapon is, the greater damage and range it possesses. Orks that enjoy shooting often acquire Shootas and form up mobs of so-called "Shoota Boyz."
Like the Slugga, Shootas are not very accurate. This suits the Orks just fine since they seem less interested in accuracy than in causing damage and raising a ruckus. The noise of a Shoota will give Orks a morale boost and can cause enemies to lose their morale and retreat from the overpowering noise of dozens of Shootas. None the less, mobs of Shoota Boyz make up for their lack of accuracy with the sheer volume of fire directed at their targets.
The Goff Shoota wiff Blade does not have any special animations or upgrades, and I will not be making any for it. It is just a basic no frills weapon just the way I like them.
As stated above in red the weapon cannot be improved or changed at the Weapon Workbench, other
than having a legendary effect added to it. The Guns are build-able in both Ork. . . I mean Super Mutant and 'umie. . . I mean Human sizes. They are set up as shotguns and have the bayonet "stab" already set on them. The Super Mutant had to be made differently so it would fit the hand hold that they have, and the reloads are not perfect, but it is what it is.
Give them to Strong, or any other Ork. . . I mean Super Mutants you might be aligned with and/or give it to anyone else and/or use it yourself.
The guns are craft-able at the Chem Bench and has it's own listing, so it should be easy to find.
If you want to know more about the gun and it's stats, download it, try it
out and if you don't like it, just remove it. It is safe to add or
remove from your game at any point. Just make sure you remove it from
your or a companion's/followers inventory before removing the mod.
The mod is flagged as an ESL, so it does not take up any mod slots.
The mod is what it is, and unless it is a game breaking issue, will not be revised.
If you are crashing at the Chem Bench when trying to make the weapons, go and download and enable the mod No More Legendary Screen, that mod will stop the crashing from happening. Make sure you get the correct copy of the mod for the version of the game you have.
To all the haters out there, I dedicate all my mods to all of you.
Thanks for letting me live rent free in your minds. :)
