Real Name Settlers by Magic881 is my go-to mod for naming randomly generated settlers and is, in part, the inspiration behind my "We Have Names" series. Despite the number of name combinations possible, though, I was seeing name repetition at a higher frequency than I like, so I decided to do something about it.
With the current update, Real Name Settlers Expanded increases the name totals to 250 female names, 250 male names, and 500 last names. Likewise, I've removed/replaced every instance I could find where a first name and last name were identical, but there are still instances where a first and last name are very similar.
Compatibility
This mod is nothing more than an expansion of the original mod's name lists, so if the original mod works in your load order, this expansion will work as well. It must load after the original, of course.
Just For Fun
It is possible that a settler will arrive bearing the name of someone famous, be it an entertainer, historical figure, athlete, or the like. As such, I thought it would be fun to keep a visual record of this. So, if a settler with a famous name arrives at your settlement, take a screen shot and post it here.
