Does it feel really weird that the sun would still be out at like 9 PM when the in-game calendar says its November? For immersions sake, these mods adjust what time the sun rises and sets. It was really weird playing in the fall / winter and the sun would rise really early and set really late. Now with the right mod installed, the sun should behave a little bit more like it does irl.
Install the mod that works for your current in-game time of year. When enough time has passed and you're in a different season, download and switch to the next mod.
This is not an automatic thing, you will have to disable and enable the correct file based on when you feel it is appropriate. It is safe to switch mid playthrough.
