Lots of mods make Vertibirds much harder to fight. This can interfere with how Sim Settlements' quests with Vertibirds play out. Let's fix that.

Sim Settlements 2 has a few quests that involve some custom Vertibirds, specifically End of the Beginning (Chapter 2) and Resurgence (Chapter 3).

Resurgence can be frustrating, even borderline impossible, with some other Vertibird-related mods active, most notably Better Vertibirds and Vertibird Randomized Loadout. Better Vertibirds adds a perk to the VertibirdRace record, which makes a lot of changes to the damage types that really affect Vertibirds. Randomized Loadouts, quite predictably, changes the type of minigun you can get each time you get into a new Vertibird.

This small patch should make them a bit more playable.

This mod edits the [xx011DE9] record from Sim Settlements 2 to change the gun being added to the player's Vertibird. Then it uses a new OMOD to change the types of miniguns available for that Vertibird, in order to remove types like the Flamer and Tesla miniguns, since Resurgence will be pretty much unplayable if you get those minigun variants.

No other Vertibirds will be edited by this patch. Only the one from Resurgence.

I have only tested this on a New Game, while utilizing the SS2 Quest Skipping tools. It should be fine to add to an existing save, though, as long as it's active prior to the player activating/entering the Vertibird.
