A simple patch that allows the Minutemen settlement objects in You and What Army 2 to be crafted after fully completing the Minutemen story line and capturing the Castle.

If you feel these are too extreme, realize that you will be getting these unlocked later in the game, so it should be easier to find the stuff. Also, you can buy mattresses and sleeping bags at vendors.
