Spell Perk Item Distributor (SPID) _DISTR.ini that will distribute the keyword TeammateDontUseAmmoKeyword
to any NPC in the CurrentCompanionFaction or any NPC that has "Companion" in their editor ID.
The keyword this mod adds to companions, makes it so that companions don't use ammo. But they will still require 1 ammo of the gun you want them to use.
Some other mods that do this, add the keyword by editing NPC values through esp. If you run multiple mods, another one of your mods, like an NPC overhaul mod, might remove the keyword. Since this mod adds the keyword at run time through SPID, you won't have to worry about patching your load order.
