Welcome to Guns edition of the Fallout 4 Resound Project. This mod brings a much needed overhaul to nearly all of the vanilla gun sounds - both player and NPC.
Including over 1500 sounds FO4RP-Guns pushes the limits of the game's audio engine. Each weapon uses 4 layers with 4 variations. Every shot is unique providing a more immersive audio experience. Don't forget to aim down the sights and enjoy a punchier more mechanical sound. Combine that with new reload sounds and it feels like using brand new guns. FO4RP also adds new sounds for receiver and barrel changes. The Combat Rifle, Hunting Rifle, and Pipe Guns all have different sounds for each caliber. Plasma Guns and Laser Guns have received the same treatment for each of their barrel changes.
Such a massive overhaul can often conflict with other mods. FO4RP-Guns is built to run independently using as little vanilla records as possible to ensure better compatibility. As a result you can use FO4RP-Guns with your favorite audio mods.
Last but not least I recorded everything you hear in this mod making for a truly unique sounding mod. Over the course of 3 days I recorded 24 guns including Hand Guns, Sniper Rifles, Assault Rifles, and Shotguns. There are no sounds from other sources in here. Which means the sounds in the mod are available to the community to use in their own mods. All I ask is that you give credit and link back to this mod.

FO4RP doesn't require any mods to function. However, it works best with a couple of mods.

Q:What is the load order and where can it go.
A:FO4RP can go anywhere in your mod list. If you're using reanimation mods and RAO follow this order:

Q:Can you reduce the sound of the guns?
A:There is a slider in the settings menu to reduce the volume.
Q: Is there an Xbox Version?
A: Yes there is. It's here Click here
Q: After equipping a weapon and firing it there is a stuttering sound. What's the deal?
A: Fallout 4 is loading all the files for that weapon into memory and syncing them.
Q: Will this work with insert mod here?
A: FO4RP is designed to work independently of other mods. It should be compatible but I can't test everything.
Q: Does this work with Reverb and Ambience Overhaul?
A: Yes, it does. FO4RP-Guns was designed with Reverb and Ambiance Overhaul in mind.
Q: Can I use your sounds in my mod?
A: Absolutely. As long as your mod is free. All I ask is that you give credit and link back to this mod.
