Changelogs
Version 1.0.1
Fixed unique spawning in containers. Now hand-placed on crate.
I've always thought that neeher's Finger Guns is too cool (and well done) as a concept to be delegated to being a one-off experience or "meme" gun. This mod aims to properly integrate the gun into the game world in a balanced, engaging, and, of course, FUN way.
The finger gun still has the same magical, virtually infinite ammo, but has had its handling styles adjusted to reign in and normalize their effectiveness. Shooting with ten fingers may be twice as cool as five, but it is no longer twice as powerful.
The gun has also been added to the leveled lists, and can be found on raiders, some Triggermen, and most anywhere that pipe pistols can be found. *I have not done very extensive playtesting on Super Mutants to determine if this may cause issues with them should they receive and equip the gun, though I have yet to encounter anything on my end in that regard.
A unique variant called "Laser Pointer" has been added which fires lasers! you can even choose between red and blue. This gun uses energy cells from Munitions in the default version. I threw together a silly little video to showcase it:
The unique (along with a note) can be found on top of a wooden crate, in the root cellar behind a house in sanctuary (check "Images" tab in mod page for spoilers on exact location)
