This mod aims to improve the immersion and increase NPC density in the main hubs of the game, including the iconic locations of Omega, Citadel, and Illium. Additionally, the mod adds props such as couches, benches, tables, etc.. that will make hubs even better and more engaging.
The mod is designed to make these areas feel more alive, with a greater sense of activity and population density.
With Immersive Citizens LE2, you can experience Mass Effect 2 like never before.
Upgrade your Mass Effect 2 experience today with Immersive Citizens LE2 - your galaxy will thank you.
The mod is currently in active development, with the Omega & Illium Hub completed and available for download. The Citadel is the next area to be overhauled and will be released in a future update.
As development progresses, already created content may be recreated and improved to further enhance the immersive experience of these hubs.
Be sure to check back often for updates and improvements to the mod.
While i have taken every precaution to ensure compatibility, if you encounter any issues while using the mod in conjunction with another mod, please let me know and i'll do my best to resolve the issue. Subtle Faces for Quarians (and Tali) - LE2 is compatible. Install Immersive Citizens LE2 before the said mod. LE2 Liara Squadmate is compatible. Use the auto_patcher provided by that mod after you installed Immersive Citizens LE2.
The increased NPC density can put additional strain on the game's engine. Due to inherent limitations, some players may experience performance impacts.
To enjoy the best experience, i recommend a system with at least a Ryzen 5 5600X CPU (or INTEL equivalent), an RX 6700 XT GPU (or NVIDIA equivalent), and the game installed on an SSD. These specifications will ensure a smoother gameplay experience, even with the increased NPC density. However, you should be fine with a way less powerful system, give it a try if you unsure.
When viewing large crowds all at once, you may notice some fps drops which is normal. This will be gone as you move further and around the map.

The goal of this mod is to make the main hubs feel more "chaotic" and alive by significantly increasing NPC density and activity.
It's a feeling of being part of a living, breathing world that's hard to describe but wonderful to experience. That's the feeling I'm aiming to create with this mod, specifically in the three main hubs of Mass Effect 2.
I'm not aiming to overhaul the whole game. Instead, my focus is on enhancing the feeling of bustling life in the game's hubs greatly.
So, if you're looking for a mod that makes you feel more like a part of the vibrant Mass Effect universe, Immersive Citizens LE2 is the perfect choice for you.
