"NexusMods/Windows Defender/[insert antivirus here] says it's a trojan!"
It's not. It's a Mass Effect mod. If I were to make a trojan I would not distribute it through a mod that is subject to virus scans, and I would target someone with a lot of money, rather than Mass Effect mod users.
"I'm getting black textures!"
You installed a mod that changes a file vital to my mod. If you're getting black textures, it's probably
BIOG_Male_Player_C.pcc or
BIOG_Female_Player_C.pcc. You also might have installed a texture mod before installing this mod.
"I'm getting weird texture artifacts/lines/shapes!"
You installed a mod that changes armor textures, and it overwrote the changes made by my mod. If you're getting weird lines or shapes, it's probably one of the armor packages -
BIOG_HM[F/M]_ARM_[HVY/MED/LGT]_R.pcc.
"Can I use this with [insert mod here?]"
DLC mods: Does the mod modify any files that Universal N7 Armor also modifies? If not, they should be compatible. If so, if my mod mounts higher, I can make a patch, but if their mod mounts higher, you will have to ask the author of the other mod to make a patch.
Texture mods: Does the mod change any human armor textures other than the Onyx and the unobtainable armors? If not, they should be compatible. If so, they will be at least somewhat incompatible, unless the other mod has modified their textures to work with the alt armor model. (Regardless, you should never install texture mods before DLC mods.)
Known conflicts:- Iconic Fashion Party - any option that touches Shepard's armor
- Most casual armor mods
- Hoplights
If you want to use my mod with one it conflicts with you are of course welcome to, but there is a very good chance at least some part of it will not work.
