Description
In both the vanilla and Legendary Edition versions of ME3, the only way to get the Salarian Special Tasks Group war asset is for Kirrahe to die in ME1. You know - Major Kirrahe, the high-ranking STG member who likes Shepard, feels indebted to her after Virmire, and who says he represents an STG faction who'll help her no matter what the Dalatrass says.
That Kirrahe. You only get STG support if he dies.
Does that seem weird to anyone else?
Enter Kirrahe Makes Good (KMG): a straightforward little mod that allows everyone's favorite holder of lines to follow through on his promises. Provided he's alive and you speak with him during Priority: Sur'Kesh, you will gain the Salarian Special Tasks Group asset when you return to the Normandy at the end of the mission. The existing route to acquiring this asset when Kirrahe is dead still works as well.
Note that KMG cannot retroactively give you the war asset if you've already completed Priority: Sur'Kesh. Not much to be done there, I'm afraid, beyond editing your save to add the war asset that way.
Installation and Removal
Import and install through ME3Tweaks Mod Manager. To uninstall, quit the game, and use ME3Tweaks Mod Manger to remove KMG:
With LE3 selected in the installation dropdown, click on Manage Target.
Click on the Delete button next to Kirrahe Makes Good.
Close the window, and try to cope with the prospect of a life without KMG.
Compatibility
KMG works by providing an altered copy of BioD_Kro001_705EndCine.pcc, which contains a few tweaks to the main sequence. Any mod that also alters this PCC is incompatible with KMG, and will need a patch. As far as I know, there are no other mods that overwrite this file, - but if you have issues using KMG with other mods, let me know and I'll see about making a compatibility patch.
