After the long slog to HR100 I was rather disappointed that crimsonglow valstrax's gunner weapons were pretty badly hobbled compared to the GU/XX valstrax weapons, with the bow being sentenced to the miserable fate of firing spread shots and the bowguns being devoid of any of the creature comforts of modern bowguns like moving while shooting and reloading so I decided to address this problem. One 4am crash course in rise modding later I would like to present to you my work here. The Valstrax gunner weapons rebalance patch

Changes

Bow
Redwing Bow and its evolutions now fire pierce arrows instead of spread, I have given the middle upgrade a damage bump from 180 raw to 200 to help it keep up a little better into your first fiorays into master rank content. it's not a massive buff by any means but I felt it  deserved a little help given it's basically the endgame bow of base rise and it's not a million miles ways from other high element bows either. Finally I also added the ability to load blast coat just like the silverwing bow could in XX because why not?

LBG
base damage increased to 180 for the redwing shooter and 200 for reddnaught bowgun, elders grace also gets a tiny buff to 340 these values were again disappointingly low vs the other elder LBGs and so I've brought it more in line with those and other final base rise upgrades. I have also made changes to its shot types and characteristsics to help it feel a bit smoother to use. this is rise, we don't need to be playing rooted to the spot to shoot like it's still old gen. magazine sizes have also been bumped up pretty much across the board. +1 or 2 for all pierce and spread grades, with slice getting +2. all elemental ammo other than dragon dragon gets +1 also. lots of these were very low despite the fast reload times with this thing. which felt kinda iffy to me.

Ammo type changes
Added the ability to fire by default:
Normal 3 (Reddnaught bowgun) and 3 (Elders Grace)
Pierce 3 (Reddnaught bowgun and Elders Grace)
Spread 3 (Reddnaught bowgun and Elders Grace)
sticky 2 (Reddnaught bowgun and Elders Grace)
cluster 2 (Reddnaught bowgun and Elders Grace)
Wyvern (Reddnaught bowgun and Elders Grace)

Rapid fire:

We can now rapid fire pierce 2 and spread 2 in addition to the base rapid firing of dragon and dragon pierce. This lets it function as both a viable pierce and spread build option instead of being just a dragon shot gimmick. I've p[laytested a while and didn't find it to be OP, especially compared to the likes of nightstrix sat over there with its 40% affinity bonus. it just helps it to truck along happily as a general purpose comfy pick.

Oh, and finally there's a little suprise waiting for you with Elders Grace, I was surprised to learn LBGs are also allowed to horizontal fire cluster ammunition... I'll leave the rest to you.

HBG

To be honest at first glance the HBG wasn't in need of too many tweaks compared to the others, a little raw bump once again bringning it in line with the other elder HBGs and more shot type QoL additions. But then I got to thinking, Valstrax's signature move is a singly high damage alpha strike attack so why not let it's heavy artillery piece do the same? magazine sizes have had a few tweaks, mainly just +1 across the board for pierce and spread grades, with slice getting +2. diabolica and geyserwing get +1 extra sticky, cluster and wyvern in the mag as you upgrade.

Installation:
Use Fluffy mod manager, I'm not making a .pak version for something this simple to install and uninstall. You know the drill, extract the contents of the .rar to */modmanager/games/mhrise/mods then use the application itself to activate/deactivate at will

I assume this is incompatible with other mods that change the basic parameter files for ranged weapons so you may need to merge it with whatever else you're trying to install if you have issues there. oh and If you bork your game modding it I'm not responsible ok?
