On balancing: Some weapons are already op without mods. If you think this is cheating, I'd say using DB, GS, bow is also cheating... I recently learned to play these weapons in sunbreak and have come to the conclusion that I haven't buffed IG enough.


Glaive Changes:

Aerial:


Aerial Raw Multipliers: 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 -> 1.25, 1.5, 1.75

Aerial Element/Status Multipliers: 1.15, 1.25, 1.4 -> 1.5, 2.0, 2.5

Diving Wyvern Multipliers: 1.2, 1.5, 2.0 -> 1.25, 1.5, 2.25


Diving Wyvern goes back to hitting one time only, but with higher mv than before.
I liked how flashy the multi-hit version felt, but it was just too unreliable. It would often hit just once on the head of the monster, resulting in a huge downgrade in damage output. Plus it also took away the only large MV move of the IG, and as we all know more numbers = more better.

Kinsect changes: (These mvs are for the kinsect, not the player)
I wanted to make the kinsect a more useful companion instead of a source of frustration and micromanagement... So the main goal of these changes is to give the kinsect more utility, less management requirements and makes it easier for you to incorporate kinsect into your combos.

Greatly buffed kinsect stats so that stay out longer, do more damage, and recover stamina faster. They should now be responsible for a significant chunk of your overall damage with this weapon.


Changed Kinsect Glow colors to be brighter and slightly less saturated...

Powder Kinsect:
I thought the vortex was a cool concept but ended up a little bit stressful and distracting...
Kinsects now attack even more frequently and have more stamina, giving you more chances to do vortexes. Increased the damage for popping dust so it breaks your heart slightly less when you accidentally pop them.
You can typically get a decent explosion after a full combo. The damage is really nice and the heals are very comfy as well.


Kinsect auto-attack delay 1.5s -> 0.8s, Get ready for a screen full of powder.

Assist Kinsect:
Pretty nice already... Very fluid like how the weapon is supposed to be... for me at least
Increased all Kinsect Assist mv by 15-20%. Together with the increased kinsect stats, the new kinsect deco, and decreased stamina usage it should hit very VERY hard. 


Charge Kinsect:
In the IG meta album they described speed kinsect as "a meme." Well, not anymore! This mod brings back the legendary 4U bug cannon. The damage and charge time of the speed kinsect have been significantly increased and they can also hit a lot more times. While other kinsect are nice utility additions to the glaive, speed kinsect now becomes an equal, sometimes more than equal, part of the combo. You should throw out your kinsect as soon as they're ready for a hit-and-run, guerrilla type experience, or just stand back and let the kinsect cheese the monster to death. You know, like a spread bow, or a auto defense HBG.
