Have you noticed that in vanilla Morrowind, the journal of the player refers to Dahrk Mezalf as a person of great importance, one of the colleagues of Kagrenac himself? However, the game itself only offers you a regular Dwemer dungeon with one boring quest to retrieve this person’s ring, without gaining any further information about him. With this mod, the person of Dahrk Mezalf, as well as his dungeon will finally be unique and interesting, something you would hopefully revisit several times.

Features:

- Gain more insight into Dahrk Mezalf: What was his role as the apprentice of Kagrenac? What was his relationship to Yagrum Bagarn? What did he think about the Chimer people and what did he do during the War of the First Council? How comes that his ghost still lingers around? The notes, books added by this mod, as well as the tons of new dialogue will answer these questions.

- An expansion of the vanilla Telvanni Dahrk Mezalf quest: No longer will it be only a boring errand to retrieve a ring, but it would also include several new actions for the players to do, like talking with the ghost himself, or solving puzzles, should they choose to do so.

- An additional quest: Help an old Dwemer researcher on the site to unlock some Dwemer magic

- An overhaul of the vanilla Bthungthumz dungeon by RubberMan in the fashion of his Dwemer Rebirth Project, which would make the location unique, and a sight to see

- Several MWSE-based Dwemer puzzles for you to solve both in order to advance in the dungeon and during the expanded Dahrk Mezalf quest

- The Dwemer Shock Centurion that would be the reward of the vanilla Dahrk Mezalf quest will now have all the standard companion features that you expect from a companion mod (levitation, water walking, warping, companion share etc.) and optionally it would provide commentary on Telvanni quests, specific locations, as well as some parts of the Main Quest, based on your choices in this mod

Nota bene: Naturally, "standard companion features" includes the ability of the player to tell the Dwemer Shock Centurion to follow you and wait. It's pointed out here, because it has actually been asked by someone. So in case you're wondering, the answer is yes, you can tell it to follow and wait, of course.

- The mod should be clean, bug-free and compatible with pretty much every other mod that has been conceived in the last 17 years

Requirements:

Along with Tribunal and Bloodmoon, this mod also requires Morrowind Script Extender and the Dwemer Tileset by Darknut

To begin:

For the expansion of the Dahrk Mezalf quest, once you have received the vanilla Dahrk Mezalf quest by Baladas Demnevanni, a courier will wait for you outside Arvs-Drelen to make an offer to you. Always pay attention to the dialogue and follow the instructions by the letter for the maximum reward our quest offers.

To begin the additional quest, just go to the site and talk with the researcher there.
