I've always been irritated how almost every NPC in Morrowind is basically a generic walking encyclopedia. On top of that, most NPCs are rather unfriendly towards you (they literally call you "outlander scum"), and yet even with low disposition they are still eager to give you lengthy lectures about Morrowind lore. It just makes no sense that everyone has the same encyclopedic knowledge about so many different topics and is willing to share it at any time. Despite Bethesda's intention, not only it's immersion breaking, but worst of all, due to the cluttering repeatable dialogues it makes it tedious to shell out the actually useful information.

But the solution to this has finally ascended.
No longer every single Barbarian will tell you about cave rats.
No longer everyone will reveal their trade like if you were some census clerk.
No longer 30 different people will claim that their son was shipped to Fort Frostmoth.
No longer everyone will try to convince you to take a boat to Khuul.
No longer you will have to read the same generic bullshit over and over again.
This mod declutters dialogue screens from most copy-pasted dialogue topics - from ALL NPCs!
It makes dialogues less overwhelming and NPCs more special by reducing the amount of topics they share with every other NPC.
It doesn't mean that these "lore" conversations have been removed completely, though. Instead removing repeatable topics have been moved: mostly to caravaners, but also in smaller degree to shipmasters and publicans (because not every city has a caravaner and latest rumours fit better to be heard at the inn). This makes silt strider globetrotters the most informed folks in Morrowind - the tireless forgotten helpers of Nerevarine deserve a chance to shine!
Flavourful faction-specific recurring dialogues will stay but are assigned to one random NPC from that faction, so you'll never have to go through them more than once. Additionaly, few minor dialogues have been slightly improved, i.e. fixed typos, or "I'm in the guild" has annotation "(meaning: The Thieves Guild)".
It does make some NPCs' dialogue options scarce but the mod does not touch actually important dialogues so at least now you don't have to waste time on figuring out which NPC has something really important to tell you.
Recommended to use with UI Expansion mod which additionally grays out topics that would show you responses you have seen before.

Installation
Copy the .esp file to your game's Data Files directory and select it in the Morrowind Launcher.

Compatibility
Compatible with OpenMW and Patch for Purists. Not compatible with mods that touch existing "lore" dialogues (i.e. No Lore, Less Generic NPCs, etc, but these mods are of mixed/questionable quality, old and unfinished so not recommended in 2021 anyway). Mods that add new topics/responses or changes on important quest dialogues shouldn't cause conflicts.
