The intro video of the game has the following text displayed:
"In the waning years of the Third Era of Tamriel, a prisoner born on a certain day to uncertain parents was sent under guard, without explanation, to Morrowind, ignorant of the role he was to play in that nation’s history…"
Apparently this text was also used during the development as a sample text or similar, and the files of the game still contain some of the voice actors saying it. Therefore, I made this modified version of the intro video, in which when the text is displayed, the male Bosmer (Fargoth) voice also reads it out to you.
It's like, as if Fargoth was the narrator of the game, who was there during the whole Nerevarine affair, but played only a minor role, and now he is telling the story to an audience represented by the player, and all that. So many layers!
This mod requires the Morrowind Code Patch. Under "mod specific" have "Hi-def cutscene support" enabled.
Installation: Put the video file of this mod into the Data Files/Video folder.
Pro tip: It's going to overwrite the vanilla intro cutscene, therefore it is advised that you backup that first. I warned you in advance, therefore I cannot be held accountable if you ignore this and later complain that you want the vanilla intro back for whatever reason.
