Vvardenfell Ablutions

Nerevarines need to take baths too!
With this mod, you will get dirtier over time. This will harm your personality and, at extreme levels, might make people not want to talk to you. Ash and blight storms will dirty you as well, making you susceptible to the diseases which spew from Red Mountain.
Bathe regularly to avoid the negative consequences of poor hygiene!
How to Play
Getting Dirty
You will become dirtier as time passes without washing. By default, you will get dirtier every 12 in-game hours since your last bath (configurable), ranging from a little messy (minor personality debuff) for your first day without bathing to repulsive (massive personality debuff) after several days. If you get very dirty, some NPCs such as Traders and Guards will be rude or refuse to talk to you. Others may simply comment on your appearance. Dialogue can be disabled in the MCM if you prefer to have the debuffs be the only downside.
Getting Clean
You must be undressed to bathe. Press the hotkey while either in water, or with a nearby water item in your crosshair (e.g. a waterfall or bathtub). The hotkey can be chosen in the MCM (default: o).
Washing with plain water will get you clean, but washing with soap, salts, fragrant oils such as Bug Musk, or nice-smelling flowers will give you a buff for a few hours. To use an ingredient with your bath, hold ALT while pressing the hotkey. This supports some modded soaps and cleaning items.
Khajiit, and any modded furstocks, can bathe by licking themselves: they do not need water access. However, this comes at the risk of getting a hairball, a minor discomfort.

Stinkers is another bath mod which is not compatible with this one, since it has its own system of dirtiness. If you want a mwscript option, use Stinkers. It is a good mod, I just wanted to make something more flexible with MWSE--Stinkers relies partially on pre-scripted bath house locations, which makes it somewhat conflict-prone.
If you like the Stinkers bathhouses, I have included a version of its esm with the scripts removed in the optional files. Its soaps and locations should be usable for Vvardenfell Ablutions bathing, except for the mud baths. The esm replacer still requires the files from the original mod.
