The Tamriel Rebuilt Voices mod is here to enhance the immersive journey of the Tamriel Rebuilt mod for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind by providing voices to all NPCs on the mainland.
This endeavor owes its inception to Kezyma's Voices of Vvardenfell, a mod that laid the groundwork for integrating voiced dialogue into the game.
In the creation of this mod, several invaluable tools were utilized:
- Applio: This tool played a crucial role in training and modifying voices, ensuring each NPC possesses a unique and authentic vocal presence. GitHub link
- edge-tts: Leveraging this tool, text was transformed into audio files, enabling the seamless integration of voiced dialogue into the game environment. GitHub link
- Robot Framework: This automation tool significantly accelerated the development process by automating various tasks, saving time and ensuring efficiency. Official website
- AIMP4: served as an essential tool for converting audio files to the correct format, ensuring compatibility with the game. Specifically, it was used to convert audio files to Mono / CBR / 64 kbps / 44100Hz, meeting the necessary specifications for Morrowind. Official website
