This is a list of the major gameplay changes that will take effect after installing the complete Step Guide:
- Courier’s Stash DLC items are spread across the Mojave instead of provided to the Courier at the start of the game (courtsey of Pre-Order Packs Scattered - YUP Compatibility Version);
- DLC quests do not start immediately. The player has to either find their trigger point or reach the recommended (by Obsidian) level to start the DLC;
- Super Mutants and Ghouls are now tougher (due to DT/DR bonus);
- Radiation accumulates faster. Make sure the Courier has stacked Rad-X and RadAway;
- Combat is resolved faster due to actors dealing more damage (2x for enemies; 1.5x for courier);
- Raiders are better equipped than vanilla;
- Wearing a faction armor will not act as disguise unless the armor set covers the face completely. Armors that do not cover the entire face will only provide a reputation bonus. The sole exclusions are Khan Soldier Armor and Powder Ganger Soldier Armor that serve as disguise due to the lack of face-covering headgear (due to FAUE.);
- Weapon Reload is set to manual (via lStewieAl’sTweaks);
- Skill checks in dialogue mode are hidden;therefore the player has to guess whether they will pass the check or fail at it (via lStewieAl’s Tweaks);
- Scrolling while using a scoped weapon will allow one to adjust their zoom;
- Players can sprint while using the Left-alt. Sprinting burns through available AP and increases the Thirst meter. NPC can also sprint and will do so to close the distance to the player;
- Weapons have visible recoil;
- Hitting an enemy or getting hit by an NPc has a chance to cause a hit reaction to play; the affected character will not be able to move/attack until the animation ends (Immersive Hit Reactions).
