  • Out-of-the-box compatibility with any mod that does not specifically use kNVSE to edit the Assault Carbine.
  • Does not overwrite vanilla animations, allowing you to safely switch back.

DESCRIPTION
Realistically, we probably didn't need another set for a gun like this, but no one has made a set of animations that were punchy enough for my tastes (no pun intended), so here we are.

I'll freely admit that I got bored with this gun very fast. That said, I'd try to lean into some of the stuff I noticed during gameplay--namely, that it has an insanely high rate of fire. I tried to capture that speed and aggression in both the reload and attack animations (sidebar: please use Viewmodel Recoil with these animations, as they attacks kind of rely on that mod, although they will work fine without it). Of all of the assault rifles I've animated, these have the fastest attacks and reloads, with the partial reload coming in only a couple of miliseconds higher than the vanilla reload time for this gun.

The gun also has jams that are quicker than vanilla by nearly a full second. Thankfully, the gun degrades fast to counteract this, too (I also included a second, unique jam where you punch the gun to reflect that it's degrading quickly).

I tried to make up for this by making the equip intentionally a bit longer to counteract some of this stuff. Hopefully, if you're using my animations, the three assault rifles available in TTW will all now feel distinct, and choosing which one to use will be more a matter of choice as opposed to just a straight upgrade.
