Description

Applies tweaks to make the auto aim mechanic tolerable. So now you can have that little bit of help, without removing the mechanic completely.

Changes:
  • Increased fAutoAimMaxDistance from 1800 units to 999k. Stops long range shots from "disappearing" at certain ranges.
  • Reduced fAutoAimScreenPercentage from 10% to 2%. Makes weapons more accurate without exposing iron sight bugs.
  • Reduced fAutoAimMaxDegreesMelee from 90 degrees to 45. Makes melee weapons a bit more accurate. Less likely to hit Rex in a knife fight.

This mod intentionally does not disable auto aim outright. There are iron sight alignment bugs with models of certain guns in vanilla, that will make you extremely inaccurate. Auto aim hides these bugs. If you'd prefer to disable auto aim completely, you'll want to use FAR - Full Auto-aim Removal and Vanilla Iron Sights Re-Alligned instead of my mod. The latter would be fine to run either way, but FAR is not compatible with this mod so you can consider it an alternative to mine.

Additionally, I strongly suggest both Consistent Spread + Physics' Based Spread ESPless in any load order to make long range shots more doable.


Installation

To install, use a mod manager or extract the archive into the data folder.

To uninstall, deactivate in your mod manager or delete the mod's INI from your GameSettings folder.

Safe to add or remove from your game at any time.


Compatibility

Incompatible with other mods that edit auto aim settings. i.e. Any auto aim disablers.
Compatible with pretty much anything else.
