Thanks to lStewieAl's Tweaks power this simple INI can easily change the few game settings the engine uses to control the moon size and its fading angles. The default values from this mod make the moon smaller than vanilla and rise earlier around 18:40 and fade out from the sky later around 05:20.
There are two values that controls the moon's rise/fade, they are measured in degrees counting from the horizon and symbolizes the travel it takes in the sky for the moon to materialize with 1% opacity and reach 100% opacity before dusk and also the inverse too before dawn comes. The smaller the difference the faster the moon will materialize and fade out entirely from the night sky later on. In the vanilla game the moon takes 15 degrees to get from 1%->100% and from 100%->1%. The mod also change that difference to 5 degrees making the transition take less in-game minutes.
The sun size can also be changed but not by this method. The values must be placed in your falloutcustom.ini under a [Weather] header and the values are:
