V1.2 is released as a BETA at this time as my own installatin of TES4 is being a 'little' temperamental! This release was initially pegged as the V1.1 update but now stands independent of V1.1, hence the change in name!
This mod includes a simplistic questline which - if you choose to follow - will lead to a number of treasures and two potential companions. You can quite
easily settle into the home without completing the quest, if you so desire.
Castle Legacy is designed to best accomodate the 'Collectors' amongst us; those who love to keep trophies of every little quest they do, collect every weapon
and piece of armour. This home caters to all those needs - and more!
A detailed in-game manual has been included for easy reference when finding your way around the castle for the first time - I would suggest using it as it will
no doubt cover some potential issues newcomers to the castle may have. It is located inside the desk in the Lord's/Lady's Manor.
In short this mod provides the following:
- Trophy Hall with automated trophies for all vanilla quests (inc. Shivering Isles & all vanilla DLC)
- Weapon display room with innovative display systems (one using containers, the other free-placing dropped items)
- Armour display halls which include their own customisable mannequins from across the whole range of vanilla races (plus a few extra's from COBL)
NB: In V1 There is no option to completely remove a mannequin from a pedestal. This oversight will be corrected from V2 onwards.
- A Treasury which will grow the richer you become - culminating in the unlocking of a special armour/weapon set
- A Dressing Room (off the Manor) which will allow your character to see what their favourite outfits will look like on them... before equipping them
- Cartography Room with fast travel capability to all major cities (planned extension in future version)
- Designated quarters for your companions where (hopefully) if you leave them long enough to take a nap, they will start exporing the rest of the castle
rather than just hanging around in the same cell... again, hopefully!
- Functional Laboratory where you mix stronger potions than with any portable apparatus, display your collection of apparatus (including the five new
sets added by this mod!), store and even mass produce your favourite potions!
- The ultimate Pantry, ideal for the budding alchemist - fully automated it will detect what ingredients you are carrying and put them on display for you
- There are a couple of staff who provide noteworthy services in the shop and dining area
- 2 potential companions to chose from
- 2 new full armour sets
- 3 full weapon sets
- 5 new sets of alchemy apparatus (and six diffent colour options for the new master level set!)
- And that's just the main stuff - you'll have to play through it to discover all the other little treasures!
