V4 from 2022:
It's been awhile. I had an urge to go over some Oblivion stuff again, and see how much better we can do, surprisingly my old work (OUT v2) still hold up. I suppose that's why I never bothered working too much on OUT v3, there wasn't much necessity for it, especially when I could work on other games. I must say it is a lot faster to process these now, compared to a few years ago. It took me several hours to process all these, today. Whereas OUT 2.0 in 2019 took probably an entire week.
Covers:
4x All diffuse textures from oblivion, shivering isles, DLCs, and the unofficial patches.
I used REALESRGAN for upscaling all the textures. This does have some occasional errors but eh, testing.
I used DEDXT to clean all the textures.
I used a new compression method for BC1 and BC3 compression so the compression should be higher quality.

New Normals:
I created normals using BC1_smooth2 and 4x_box models. This is an all-in-1 4x-compressed download.

Cleaned Oblivion Textures:
Cleaned all oblivion textures using BC1_smooth2, all-in-1 1x_uncompressed download. I use these to generate the upscaled textures.
Cleaned menu textures using BC1_smooth2 1x_uncompressed download. Probably worthless.

Instructions & Recommendations:
Just dump in the data directory. Recommend that you use MO2. Requires some form of archive invalidation. Recommend you use SkyBSA.
Configurations:
larger) OUT_2_Default + SIUT_default + DLC_default, then overwrite with OUT_4 Diffuse and OUT_3 Normals.
smaller) OUT_2_Default + SIUT_default + DLC_default, then overwrite with OUT_4 Diffuse.
