Foreword
I'm not a fan of the vanilla eyes. They certainly work, but they can be fixed and built upon. The mods that do this, the ones I've seen, either add way too many eyes to reasonably sift through, require other mods to work (mostly OCO2 which I hate), or is unstable with more than ten mods. This mod has none of that bullshit. This mod is straightforward, no-fluff, all the eyes one could conceivably need... or at least all the eyes I would need.

Content
This mod includes retextures for every eye in vanilla Oblivion that belongs to a playable race, as well as more colour options for eyes. Bosmer have both black and white sclera eyes, while Altmer/Bosmer have additional gold irises with white sclera. NPCs will not have varying eye colours; they will have different textures for their corresponding vanilla colour. Unplayable races and vampires do not have eye variety. Vampires have two different eye colours, but only one will appear in-game. The default colour is red, while an alternate yellow is packaged. Details on how to get the yellow version in-game below.

Installation
Manual
Drag and drop the "Data" folder into your root Oblivion directory, or the "Textures" folder into your "Data" folder.

Bash
Put the zip in "Bash Installers" and hit install.

Uninstallation
Manual
Delete "Bright Eyes Texture Replacer.esp" as well as all related eyes in the directory "Data>character>eyes". Remember, this mod does not overwrite any vanilla texture file, so all your vanilla eyes will still exist.

Bash
Put the zip in "Bash Installers" and hit uninstall. Wrye Bash will remove all associated files from your Oblivion directory.

Conflicts/Load Order
This mod will obviously conflict with any mod that adds in more eyes. Texture replacers will not mess with BETR eyes, since BETR does not modify any vanilla files. It is still best to load this mod *after* any of your texture mods, just in case. This mod will not work with any mod that modifies the vanilla eye mesh, such as with many face mods.

Mods in specific that BETR won't play nice with:
- OCO2

Downloading with Wrye Bash recommended. Probably needs some kind of archive invalidation to show the retextures.

Modification
I stress, you are allowed to use these eyes in any capacity so long as you credit me. If I take issue with your usage of my work, I will tell you and will want you to take it down. But that will not happen unless you include my mod in something that would reflect bad on me for associating with it OR you use my work without permission.

Otherwise, derivatives are welcome and encouraged. If you have the knowledge and love of my textures to do so, modify them to work with the face mods you like. If you upload derivatives, tell me! I'd love to link them so people can have more variety for character customisation.
