Why did I make this? There is already a COBL Book jackets but it is not complete and this one is not complete as it only has 102 books made so far. Most bools at main picture is from Oblivion Book jackets, see link below.

Description
This is the stand alone version of Pekkas COBL Book Jackets. Why am I Pellape here? I cannot access my original account as I lost my password. NM, I am a happy fart anyway. I started to make books in Morrowind 2005 (And paintings) and used the same style since then. It might be so you can find my old books at Morrowind Archive but most books are lost for Oblivion, only 1 remains, in the dungeon mod I made 2006. I need to upload that resource to the MW site, it is in the wrong game section. A document is also included that explains how YOU will be able to make your own paintings and books. Meshes is included for each game. Here is the Oblivion Resource you will use for this specific game.
Top main screenshot is mostly from an old Book jackets. Link below. What you see is my shelves made with Blender, some paintings and a dangerous door. ;) What is behind the door Pekka? IDK... I do not tell you. I guess it leads to a near by cave... I am to afraid to peek in it honestly. Stupid architect.
Requirement
COBL obviously but it has some minor bugs. I have informed the author and also Wrye. All bugs, I know of, will be fixed in my big upload later, with a new COBL Main.esm. The original will work perfect with the books no matter what. Its just tiny errors, a missing texture, 3 races that needed some love too. COBL has so many fun items and I tried to use loads of them in my main mod. Some collisions at some objects, like Sals Oven is also fixed as it rejects stuff to add on top of it, like a canon - No more. Read more below:
Stand Alone?
Yes, as this packet is made for the biggest library in the world, see one wall at the top screenshot. No one can make a bigger library, as the goal is that every TES book will be included. It has 100 books so far or so and a special room with unique dungeon books that will port you to each dungeon entrance. 550 shelf spots added in game. It is a WIP but will be released as a beta in 2 weeks or so, I need to edit some stuff first. Backside with a mod that has been developed during 2 years is the size. Here is the WIP with loads of Screenshots, from 2020 to 2022. It also includes walls of text. I love to read and I also love to write, a lot of rubbish. Do not say I did not warn you. It is huge and will be 400Mb. It is up to you to play it. These Book jackets do take less space so if you only want them, this is the mod for you. I have not added new book covers since last year as I been busy with my WIP but I make more when time comes for it. One step in a time.... The big mod has the files at the exact same place. No need to reinstall or anything.
Stealing books
Why do i also include the books in my big mod? Companions and staff and a faction is using my library. Someone is stealing loose objects, most likely some companions with low responsibility and clean packages. Stuff disappear. I saw a companion stealing weapons from a wall even. The story is about stealing books though, but the Companions really do it in game. I had to check the books at the shelves. [x] Cannot be taken. So far the NPC's has ignored all books checked. If this will be a problem, I will hide the books behind a collision box. It will have other consequences. One step in a time.

Yes they do. But that package is not complete. I would have used it if it was complete honestly. So I forced myself to make new books and honestly, as soon as I got started, I had a lot of fun making them and I made 2 books a day for a month, sometimes 3. I want them to be perfect and appealing to me. I will add all reacquired work possible to make my self pleased. Anything else is out of the question.
Future? More Book Jackets? Oblivion?
I am not so sure it is needed. I love this package and I strongly suggest you to use it if you later plan to install my home and big giant library. As long as I have more COBL Books to make and later other books, I will not make Oblivion books. But anything can and will happen in the future. What I do know is that I can focus at Oblivion modding a lot as I am free as a bird. I spend many hours a day with Oblivion. :D It is soooo fun. As I modded since 2004, MW, and did a lot of other games and Role played different chars and personas, I have my own style making stories and plots and hopefully you will have fun playing it. IDK... Honestly I do not care what you do. :D It is not up to me to tell you play this junk :D if you like it, you like it. if you will have fun with the main mod later, I will be happy really, very happy. I am a performer after all. Then I have done something right. Is this game not fantastic? I have lots of fun playing it myself and done it now for 4 weeks in a row. Read the WIP
Covers?
The book covers are made from Screenshots from 4 games and many mods. It has been a pussle to find the right targets or arrange the targets in separate custom mods to get the right effect for a single picture. The games I used is:

Also extra credits to Canadian Ice, Qarl, Alien Slof, Eshme, Elynda and NeilV to be my mentors and guides and friends. They taught me this. If I forgot someone, shoot me. I wouldn't be here if it was not for them.
Most books are based on in game screenshots only. Some books use background textures from some free sites. I lost fantasy of finding proper backgrounds, so I more and more used my own screenshots only, mixed them, cut and paste in layers. 10 books has written book names now. Something I forgot to add in the beginning so some weeks ago I thought. Something is missing, I forgot the titles and which book is which? The goal is that every book will have a visible or viable title made with Beveal for Gimp. 3D text

The book covers are made from Screenshots from 4 games and many mods. It has been a pussle to find the right targets or arrange the targets in separate custom mods to get the right effect for a single picture. The games I used is:
- Tes 2 - Daggerfall Unity, fully modded with all mods from Nexus Unity. 1-2 is left out as they cause problems. Author contacted.
- Tes 3 - Morrowind, extremely modded with stuff from both Nexus and Morrowind ModHistory and this modlist, which is the best site for searching. My old stuff pops up in that link but add any name you know, Qarl, AlienSlof, Aleanne, Elynda or whoever, it will find their old stuff. Canadian Ice
- Tes 4 - with Morroblivion but I only activate Morroblivion when I need screenshots that I cant get in Tes 3. No links needed I guess.
- Tes 5 - One book so far, the psijic order mod. That was the only sourse of Psijic I could find as I no longer play ESO - I cannot find that brilliant mod right now. I need to check the name later at my comp at my own flat. I am at my GFs flat, using her lousy laptop. Well Skyrim has a lot of stuff, much more than we have for Oblivion.
