v2.0 update complete! It's back with a new custom gun and a new recolor patch!
A month has passed since this MOD was uploaded on July 3rd, and it has been updated to V2.0 with improved custom guns and new recolor patches. Due to major changes, it is not compatible with V1.0 and V1.1. Users who have already downloaded it should update.
The features of the V2.0 update are listed below.
Improvement 1: Original customization!
This is the most iconic element of the V2.0. I created and installed special custom parts on the FN HIGH POWER 2022 created by Marcin Kowalski.
Counterweight:
After extending the barrel to about 6 inches, I attached a counterweight that I worked hard to make from scratch. This counterweight was created with reference to the "Browning hi power GP competition". The installation method is also perfectly reproduced, and it is designed with care to function physically even if it is reproduced in the real world. Only the front sight is not the one from the GP, but the one from the sports model. This counterweight weighs about 2.4 ounces and has the effect of suppressing muzzle flip, but unlike a compensator, it is safe to shoot in any position and is less affected by bullets.
Beer Can Sight:
Replaced the iron sight. This is a Browning Hi power This is a perfect reproduction of the adjustable sight used on the Sport. This sight, with its distinctive style, can be adjusted for windage and elevation, making it ideal for precision shooting. I also made this from scratch, but it was so difficult to model that I almost threw up.
No Bite Ultra Lite Chamfered Hammer:
I replaced the hammer. This hammer was made from scratch based on the products sold by Cylinder and Slide. It looks like a spur hammer that is easy to cock, but it is hollowed out, which significantly shortens the lock time. The spur part is also a little shorter, which further reduces the chance of the hammer being bitten. I don't think this hammer can actually be installed on the HIGH POWER 2022. Be careful if you try it in the real world.
This custom gun, created in homage to the Browning High Power GP Competition released in the 1980s, is named "HIGH POWER GP Competition". When equipped, not only does the model change, but the name and caption also change to a dedicated one (supports English, Japanese, and Russian. This change is only for the main game and will not be reflected in SW.) Enjoy replacing it with the SG-09R and giving it to Leon, or replacing it with the Black Tail and giving it to Ada. Of course, it would also be fun to have two HIGH POWERs, imagining both. As always, there is also a variation with the hammer always cocked and a variation with the LAM always displayed! Enjoy the HIGH POWER 2022, which has become more suitable for a hero gun!
Improvement 2: The coloring has been made more realistic.
In the previous MOD, the barrel, hammer, and trigger were dyed black. This was a direct reflection of the aesthetics of the texture provided by Marcin Kowalski, but in V2.0, these three parts have been changed to the same silver as the real gun. (The silver and FDE color patches have not been changed.) The same color as before is also available as a "REGACY" color patch, so those who prefer the whole gun in black can enjoy it.
Improvement 3: More recolor patches!
In V2.0, 14 color patches, including subtle differences, have been added. Combined with the six color patches originally prepared, this MOD can now be enjoyed in a whopping 20 different colors. This insane task was extremely exhausting and extremely difficult, but I worked desperately to present a different way to enjoy the gun in order to present it to people who don't know about it and get them interested in it.
By combining the three "enhanced textures" described below, the 20 color patches will show even more changes. Users are free to combine them with any variation of the HIGH POWER 2022 main body. We were able to provide so many combinations that you can't play with them all. Below is a breakdown of the 14 newly added types. However, since it would be too detailed to touch on everything, I will omit some of the details.
Color patch : BLACK REGACY
The textures that were previously reflected in this MOD are displayed. The barrel, hammer, and trigger are black. This REGACY variation is available in three versions: the brown grip version introduced in V1.1 and the newly introduced FDE grip version.
Color patch : BLACK WITH FDE GRIP
This variation has a black body and an FDE color grip. There are two versions, a REGACY version and a regular version, so you can choose according to your preference. It's up to you to decide whether you like this color scheme or not.
Color patch : FDE WITH BLACK GRIP
This variation has a black grip attached to the FDE color body. I think that the combination of the expanding color of FDE and the black grip creates a well-balanced color scheme.
Color patch : SILVER WITH BLACK GRIP
The silver body is fitted with a black grip. You can enjoy the Shot Show version of HIGH POWER 2022.
Color patch : with WOOD GRIP
Metal framed guns need wooden grip panels. This is something that polymer frames can't do. This color patch is a bold modification of the grip panel texture to create a wooden grip panel look. This color patch is available in all color variations, so you can enjoy any combination. The normal map has also been modified to give the wood grain a "depth" look. This color patch does not have a non-slip surface, so it is more about aesthetics.
Color patch : D.O.C
Metal frame guns need two-tone. Two-tone itself is possible with polymer frame pistols, but the combination of a silver frame and a black slide can only be achieved with metal frames. This color patch looks even better with a black slide and silver frame. The coloring of the small parts is based on the Model 59 custom used by a character called "detective doc," who appeared in a Japanese TV drama. That's why I named this color patch "DOC." It's not just for looks, it's also intended to prevent galling. Well, there may not be much point in going to the trouble of doing something like this with modern guns. Compatible with black grip, brown grip, pink grip, and wood grip.
※ Please install the various recolor patches by overwriting them after installing HIGH POWER 2022 itself. Otherwise they will not be effective.
Improvement 4: Even more detailed "ENHANCED TEXTURE"
Reflecting user feedback, we have added two variations to the "ENHANCED TEXTURE" that was distributed with V1.1a to make it even more enjoyable.
The standard "ENHANCED TEXTURE" changes the amount of light absorption by the small parts of the gun body, which is the same as V1.1a in that it makes it look more three-dimensional, but it has been further adjusted and the effect is now reflected in the ejector, firing pin, and extractor.
"FULL GLOSS "HALF" EDITION" gives the entire gun a gloss, but the gloss given to the slide, frame, laser sight, and other small parts is different, making the whole gun shiny and providing a three-dimensional look. The grip panel and the recoil spring of the stock are made of resin, so they have been adjusted so that they do not shine.
"FULL GLOSS EDITION" makes the whole gun shiny like the "HALF" EDITION, but this is a crazy option that is even glossier and gives even the grip panel, which is a resin part, a gloss. By the way, WOOD When applied to the GRIP color patch, it gives the appearance of a clear-coated wood grip.
ENHANCED TEXTURE is available in both wood grip and regular versions, so be careful not to make a mistake. If you apply it incorrectly, it will look a little bad. However, the only combination that looks surprisingly good is the BROWN GRIP color patch and the wood grip version of ENHANCED TEXTURE, so it's worth remembering this combination as a secret technique. Also, ENHANCED TEXTURE is merely an additional option, and it will function normally even if you don't use it.

Improvement 5: Easier to download files

In the previous distribution method, the files were divided into very small parts, and users could install only what they needed. This method prevented users from installing "huge files", but instead the number of distributed files exploded, and if the one they needed was at the bottom of the page or mixed in with other files, it was a hassle to download.
This time, the BLACKTAIL version and SG-09R version of HIGH POWER 2022 main body have been divided into a regular version and a GP Competition version, and the color patches have been integrated to some extent to make it easier to install. Although the file size has the disadvantage of being somewhat large, a large number of files have been added in this update, so if it were distributed in the same way as before, more than 50 types of files would be posted on this page alone. In any case, only one will be reflected in the game, and there will be no problems, so it should not be a problem.

This very small patch gives the small parts of the HIGH POWER 2022 more shine and improves the three-dimensional effect. Specifically, it gives shine to the slide release lever, hammer, safety, magazine release button, disassembly latch, barrel, recoil spring guide (only for the full-length version. The stock's recoil spring guide is polymer, so it looks more natural without shine), and iron sights. It can be freely combined with color patches, but depending on the combination, you may prefer the results without this patch. Therefore, this file is not required, but is just a small patch to give users new options. Please add this and try to increase your options even more!

UPDATED v1.1!＋new RECOLOR PATCH will be distributed!
I am truly sorry that I made the page invisible only two days after posting this MOD. It was pointed out in the user comments that there were incomplete products mixed in, so I made the page invisible this time to address the issue with an update. In the new v1.1, the problem of the texture not being shiny enough that existed in the Black Tail version and the problem with the Hammer Cock variation of the SG-09R version have been fixed.
