Inspired by my previous mod involving the Dragoon assault rifle, and compelled by the simplicity of this one, I present: the Samurai Edge - AW Model-01 (the mediocre Trauma Pack weapon) with the suppressor, compensator, and laser sight/flashlight thing removed, as well as the muzzle flash realigned to the end of the barrel. Unlike the Dragoon, where the suppressor, flashlight, laser sight, red dot sight, handguard, and foregrip were all connected together, the Samurai Edge's parts that I removed were thankfully all bundled together separate from the weapon itself. The firing sound remains the same, as it didn't sound suppressed, and the muzzle flash remains the same, as it still visibly flashes. With this mod, you will notice that the barrel of the weapon isn't completely hollow and stops where the front end of the slide meets.
Basically, it's the Trauma Pack's Samurai Edge without the compensator, suppressor, and flashlight/laser thing.
Obtain the Trauma Pack DLC, then install this with the Fluffy Manager after placing the folder located within the .zip file in the "Mods" folder for RE8. For example: "Games>RE8>Mods>Simplified Samurai Edge"
