About this mod

This modification add a talent which change model of vanilla armor with saving main parameters (type,enchantment,weight,price,armor)

Requirements
Permissions and credits

I present to your attention a modification completely written by me, this mod can change the appearance of vanilla armor without changing its parameters.

Works with any bodyreplacer and most mods adding new armor models.

This modification covers 95% of things - Cuirass, Boots, Gloves (including with enchantments) . Does not support some unique types of armor (for example, General Tullius armor), clothes without enchantments (for example, the blacksmith's apron), and does not support all headgear. Armor with a modified model lends itself to further temper at the blacksmith's workbench and enchantments.

You will find the spell to activate the talent in Riverwood, in the chest behind the house of Sven and Hilde`s

There are two modification options:

1st variant:  Dresser_default_EN

Changes the current model to another vanilla model.
There are only 5 types
1) Nightingale Armor
2) Carved Nords Armor
3) Wolf armor
4) Ancient Nordic Armor
5) Ancient Falmer Armor

That is, you can give, for example, the caster's robe the look of an ancient Nordic cuirass, etc.

At the same time, you can easily switch between these types, if you do not like or are tired of the current type of armor, you can easily switch it to any of these 5.

2nd variant Dresser_custom_EN
Changes the current vanilla armor model to one from mods.

!!! IMPORTANT !!! There are no armor models from any mods in this modification. You must install them yourself before using.

You can put 5 different models for a female character and 5 different models for a male character at the same time. And then choose between them in the game.

!!! INSTALLATION OF MODELS FROM OUTSIDE MODES !!!

1.) Download the mod you like
2.) Opens the archive, in most mods for clothes and armor there are only two folders - meshes and textures. We drop the textures folder into the ... /Skyrim/ Data/
(In the case of installation via MO2 or NMM, we simply put a check mark on the modifications, but do not connect esp from this mod.)
3.) In the meshes folder in the downloaded mod, open the folders until we get to the armor models we want to put.

There may be many files in the destination folder - there may be files containing "1st" (from the first person) and "_g" or "_gnd" we don't need them.
We need files that contain _0 and _1 and a mention of cuirass (cuirass, torso, robe or something like that) about gloves (gloves, gauntlets, arm .. .) about boots (boots, legs ...)

For example of one fairly popular mod - download the archive to the replacer you need. Open the meshes folder in the archive and go through the folders in it until we see:

We need these 6 files.
Let's set them to type 1.
To do this, move these files to the folder
...\Skyrim\Data\Meshes\Dresser\Female\Type_1\

(If installed via MO2 or NMM, move them to the mod folder
...\Meshes\Dresser\Female\Type_1\)

This folder contains empty templates, you need to rename the files according to this principle.

Renaming:
scarletdawn_torso_0.nif -> cuirass_0.nif
scarletdawn_torso_1.nif -> cuirass_1.nif
scarletdawn_boots_0.nif -> boots_0.nif
scarletdawn_boots_1.nif -> boots_1.nif
scarletdawn_armstraps_0.nif -> gauntlets_0.nif
scarletdawn_armstraps_1.nif -> gauntlets_1.nif

If you did everything correctly, then when you change a vanilla model to a type 1 model, you should display this model.

If the supplied model is not displayed, check the correct renaming and directory.

(Also, the nif model from the mod may have non-standard partitions set, which is why the model will not be displayed, if you are not an advanced user - just try to take a model from another mod)

If the game crashed when youRenaming:
scarletdawn_torso_0.nif -> cuirass_0.nif
scarletdawn_torso_1.nif -> cuirass_1.nif
scarletdawn_boots_0.nif -> boots_0.nif
scarletdawn_boots_1.nif -> boots_1.nif
scarletdawn_armstraps_0.nif -> gauntlets_0.nif
scarletdawn_armstraps_1.nif -> gauntlets_1.nif

If the game crashed when putting on the "transmuted" armor, change the model to another one, perhaps this one is not suitable.

If you have any questions, please ask.
If you find a bug, describe it, indicating with what item (preferably id) and with what type try to use on the "transmuted" armor, change the model to another one, perhaps this one is not suitable.
