A patch to add a male version of Elleh's gorgeous Hedge Mage Armor, now converted to work on LE.

DISCLAIMER: I do not own any of the assets included in this upload. All credits for the creation of meshes go to Elleh, and to Tathrin for modifying them to work with the male body.
I'm sure I'm not the only person who abstains from playing a fella solely because of the lack of good clothing and armour mods available for the male chars (Yes, I do realise that I could just stick to vanilla stuff but modding is the only reason I play Skyrim on pc, lol. If I wanted to go for vanilla I would just play on ps4 (Damn you, Sony! *waves hands at the sky*)). This mod takes a little step towards resolving this problem by making one of the most popular lass-only armours on Nexus available for male characters. Just like in the title -- a male version of Hedge Mage Armor by Elleh.
This download includes a separate plugin that has to be loaded after the main plugin. There are two versions: Camp and No Camp, and you have the choose the one that corresponds to the version of the original mod you have downloaded. Otherwise, you might run into trouble. Alternatively, if you have some knowledge of tes5edit/Creation Kit, there is a loose files version of the patch (see optionals) -- you know the drill.
//update: Added the version of this patch for folks using "craftable module" version without the main file. See the optionals.
To make it clear -- this mod includes meshes that were just remodelled to fit the male body shape with OutfitStudio. That's all there is to it. It's not an entirely new armour model designed after the female model.

SSE MOD DESCRIPTION
The Hedge Mage Armor created by Elleh is one of my absolute favorites armors in the entirety of Skyrim. The fact that it was only available for female characters was never really a problem for me, because I've never made it more than a few hours into a playthrough as a fellow...but I like when things match. (Besides, maybe I'd like to share it with a follower like Lucien or somebody some day.) So when I decided to finally learn how to use Outfit Studio, creating the "missing half" of some of my favorite armors and outfits seemed like a perfect place to start! This is my first (well...the first that's passed muster well enough to merit an upload lol) so please, if you notice any errors or areas for improvement, don't hesitate to let me know!
There are two versions of this patch, to correspond with the two main versions of the original mod: the Hedge Mage Quest file and the Hedge Mage: No Camp file. Both have been flagged as a light plugin so they will not take up a full slot in your load order. Please make sure to download the file that matches the version of Hedge Mage Armor SSE that is active in your game. While my additions to the mod are identical in both versions of the patch, you are likely to run into a "Missing Masters" issue if you mix-up your files!
There is also a loose files version you can download manually that contains nothing but the raw meshes. You will need to use the Creation Kit or SSEEdit to attach those meshes to the armor in whatever version of the mod you are using, as the original left the male slots of the armor entirely blank. You cannot simply drop the files into your data folder and expect to find them in game!
You are free to make improvements and alterations to my work, but you must obtain permission from Elleh prior to uploading anything as full ownership of this mod and all its patch(es) rests with them, not me. If you are uploading a mod that is solely an outfit modification and wish to make use of my re-formed meshes, I ask that you make this file a download requirement. This is to reduce chances that I will be accused (again) of "stealing" someone else's work because they used assets I created. If you wish to use these assets in a non-outfit mod (a follower, an overhaul, a quest, etc) you do not need to make this patch a requirement; just give credit, please!
