Changelogs
Version 1.1
Renamed the esp from "KS Hairdos 1.9 - True Unisex Patch" to "KS Hairdos - True Unisex Patch" in case KS Hairdos gets any more updates in the future. I'll be patching those future updates too.
Version 1.0
Initial release.
Just a simple patch to make all KS hair options available for both genders.
To be honest I am quite happy with all the male hair options KS Hairdos has to offer, but the gap between the amount of male hair options and female hair options is truly something else, and I think various female hair options can also look quite good on males and vice versa.
Even though there are some mods that make all KS hair options available for males, most of them are outdated and I still haven't found a single one of them that makes it so women are able to use the male hair options too. So why not make a patch by myself? And so I did!
Enjoy! And don't forget to track and endorse! :)
Please note the fact that this patch does not come with any hair meshes, therefore you will have clipping going on with some of the hair options, do some sculpting through racemenu and you should be all set. I'd recommend you to sculpt the head part and not the hair part if those two are clipping with each other for it could get a bit messy afterwards, but that comes to your liking! :)
COTR Overhaul users just need to use the "Scalp Fit" slider to get rid of the clipping going on with the head mesh and the hair!
For some reason, removing any gender condition flags that an hair option may have will cause this same hair option to not load at all when a racemenu preset that uses it is loaded, a lot of the unisex KS Hairdos patches you see out there have this exact same scenario happening, meaning that you cannot make racemenu presets with those patches, which is a bit frustrating indeed.
So instead I decided to go by the long way, duplicating the KS Hairdos plugin and swapping the gender condition flags every hair option had with their opposites, making it so that both genders can use all the hair options KS Hairdos currently has to offer as of version 1.9!
This patch uses a whole separate plugin, meaning that you don't need to overwrite the KS Hairdos plugin and therefore you can make racemenu presets with the other hair options! :)
