Like the beautiful hairstyle mods? But being annoyed with the bald head when equipping some of the vanilla helmets? This simple script may help. Every time player or configured NPCs equip a marked helmet, a spell will check actor's and helmet's keyword. If true, this script will spawn a wig and automatically equip it.
A small switch will be shown in mod configure menu, with this you will switch dragonborn between showing bald, long hair and short hair. All changes will be take effect after closing the mcm.
The vanilla wigs only have five colors, I modify them by adding hair tint according to Sync Wig Hair Color. Additionally I hide all the vanilla wigs' crafting recipes. I think we no longer need those.
Using Keyword Item Distributor to import more head gear supports easily. Just add the keyword "HatShowsBald" to the head gear, and this equipment should not use slot 41.
Theoretically, using Spell Perk Item Distributor can also add NPCs' supports. Just edit the AutoEquipWig_DISTR.ini file like what is already written in. But it seems that once added, it is not easy to remove the effect. You may need to use the console command removespell.
At last, I have to thank the wigs' author apachii, who gave me the permission to use and modify it.
