About this mod

An overhall of Unarmed combat that doesn't feel too different from vanilla gameplay, then some additional late-game abilities that are not so vanilla.
(this is my first mod, please be nice)

Features:

New Items - Fists & Magi Fists

**IMPORTANT**
You need to equip the Fists item for a lot of the mod's features to work. Once you get the "Magi Fists" perk, they'll be replaced with the Magi Fists item.

Unarmed attacks are now silent (like daggers).
Unarmed sneak attacks now deal 3x damage (like one handed weapons).
Unarmed attacks now benefit from the sneak perks "Backstab" and "Assassin’s Blade".

Changed the "Fists of Steel" perk from the heavy armor tree – "Heavyweight: move quicker if you’re unarmed and wearing heavy armour" (basically halves the weight of heavy armour if you're unarmed)

Unarmed now acts like a one-handed weapon, specifically:
  • Unarmed now levels up one handed
  • Unarmed benefits from one handed level (damage increases with skill level, just like a one handed weapon)

Unarmed benefits from the following perks from the One-Handed tree:
  • Armsman
  • Dual Flurry
  • Dual Savagery


New Enchanting Perks:
  • Magi Fist (Enchanting level 30) – You can now enchant your fists with weapon enchantments. NOTE: If you want to re-enchant your Magi Fists, simply drop it and a message box will come up to confirm that you want to remove the enchantment.
  • Sorcerous Strike (Enchanting level 50) – The strength of your fist enchantments increases by 25%.
  • Stalhrim Infusion (Enchanting level 75) – Your frost and chaos damage enchantments on your fists are 25% stronger if you enchanted them while wearing a full suit of stalhrim armour


  • Unarmed Arcanist (Enchanting level 90) – Gives you an ability for every magic school you have at level 100:

  • Unarmed Illusionist – Sneaking while unarmed turns you invisible and muffles your movement.
  • Unarmed Soul Reaver – Once per enemy, your power attacks punch a portion of the enemy's soul out of them dealing 10% of their maximum health as damage, and creating an invulnerable ghost form of them that aids you in battle for 20 seconds.
  • Unarmed Elementalist – Your unarmed power attacks deal 75 elemental damage on a rotation (Fire, Frost, Shock)
  • Unarmed Rejuvenator – You gain a power that restores health, magicka and stamina by 50 points per second and all incoming damage is reduced by 50% for 10 seconds. (The ability has a cooldown of 30 seconds)
  • Unarmed Kineticist – Your uppercuts (punching while sneaking) launches enemies into the air.


I've also added an optional addon that re-balances the Khajiit and Argonian races that have higher unarmed damage than the other races. Both of them are pretty strong in the early stages of the game, and with this mod on top of that they become stupidly strong which isn't a great thing. The optional addon "Unarmed Arcanist - Race Balancer" will make it so when you equip any fist item, the racial unarmed damage bonus stops, so they have the same damage as any other race.
