Skyrims vanilla Nordic Towers mesh is not the best. Their low poly count may suit the PS3 era, but this is modded Skyrim and it's time for a makeover. The original meshes supplied by Todd have painfully obvious straight edges and harsh corners, and they do not look good. This mod changes that. By reworking the towers for a more organic natural look, with thicker walls and rounded corners, they are much more realistic and "immersive". Further work has been done to the UVs to remove texture seams and the collision is updated throughout, to accurately reflect the new mesh.

The included FOMOD has several options. Choose between parallax/non-parallax versions. You can also pick higher or lower segmented versions, which will effect whether the mesh reaches the light limit and bulbs start to break/switch on and off. Most users will be fine with the higher segmented version but potatoes, Alexa fridge and milk drinkers can try the lower segmented version if the higher segmented version is too much for their setup. New tower LODs are also available, so it all blends together according to the way of the Sheson :D

INSTALL/UNINSTALL/UPDATING:
  • INSTALL -  with your preferred mod manager anytime
    • Make sure all installed files are triumphant conflict winners
  • UNINSTALL -  with your preferred mod manager anytime
    • If you generated LODs when it was installed, might need to rerun DynDOLOD
  • UPDATING - Meshes will always be safe to update if/when this mod updates

PERFORMANCE:
  • Should have no noticeable impact
  • This is primarily dictated by 3rd-party texture resolutions one chooses to use

CONFLICTS:
  • As the walls are thicker, there is a possibility existing assets may require edits to suit the new meshes
  • Any modders wishing to take on the job and create patches (and earn DP) are more than welcome, so long as they require this mod as a master
