You don´t like SkyUI-VR or you don't get along with it but still want the MCM mod menu? This is now possible!
This mod enhances Skyrim VR by integrating the popular "MCM" (Mod Configuration Menu) from SkyUI-VR, while restoring the original game’s interface. This mod replaces the modified SkyUI-VR .swf files with the original Skyrim-VR interface files, allowing players to use the MCM without the redesigned SkyUI interface. It's perfect for users who prefer the classic Skyrim look but want the convenience of modern mod configuration.
Compatibility Note: This mod is designed to be compatible with all future versions of SkyUI-VR and should not require updates to maintain compatibility.
Install: Install SkyUI-VR first. Afterward, install this mod and accept any prompts to overwrite SkyUI-VR files. This ensures proper functionality of the mod, keeping the original Skyrim interface while enabling MCM.
Troubleshooting After Installing SkyUI VR-NoMore:
Follow these simple steps to address error messages after installing this mod and ensure a smooth Skyrim VR experience:
1. Confirm Error Messages: - When you first access certain menus after installing the mod, you might see some error messages from SkyUI. - Confirm each error message as they appear to proceed.
2. Disable SWF Version Checking: - Open the game’s main menu and navigate to the "MOD Configuration." - In the "MOD Configuration" menu, select "SkyUI." - Proceed to "Advanced" and find the subsection titled "SWF Version Checking." - Disable all options within the "SWF Version Checking" menu to prevent future error messages.
3. Save the Settings: - To ensure these changes are retained, don’t just exit the game—save your game as a new save file. - This ensures that you won’t need to repeat this process each time you launch Skyrim VR.
By following these steps, you'll enjoy a seamless interface experience with only the MCM (Mod Configuration Menu) enabled, free from the redesigned SkyUI interfaces. Happy adventuring in Skyrim VR!
