Description
Have dozens of outfit mods installed but can't decide which one to wear? Build a playlist and let RNG decide!
This mod allows you to register outfits into a randomly shuffled playlist. You can simply click "Next" and the next outfit in the playlist will be added to your inventory and equipped, replacing the previous outfit. No more need to hunt through AddItemMenu or keep multiple outfits in your inventory.
The playlist is stored in JSON files, so your outfits can be accessed across all of your saves/characters at any time.
How to Use
Two items named "[Outfit Playlist Menu]" and "[Outfit Playlist Next]" will be added to your inventory.
Click the [Outfit Playlist Menu] item to access the menu, which will allow you to change outfits, remove your current outfit, browse all outfits (requires UIExtensions), shuffle your outfits and register what you're currently wearing as a new outfit.
I recommend you save your game before registering outfits and reload that save when you're done, as registering outfits will often clutter up your inventory.
The [Outfit Playlist Next] can be hotkeyed (using Favorite Misc Items) to quickly go to the next outfit in your playlist.
Making Playlist Group Files
All of your registered outfits go into a group file located in at Data/SKSE/Plugins/OutfitPlaylist/CustomOutfits.json
All files in Data/SKSE/Plugins/OutfitPlaylist/ ending in .json are automatically loaded by Outfit Playlist when you load your save.
If you want to share your group file with others, make a copy of CustomOutfits.json and name it something else. (extension must remain as .json) You can then package that .json file into a mod for others to use.
An example group file is included in the downloads that contains most of the vanilla outfits.
