This little mod adds another clutter/toy item to the game: a deck of playing cards. It can be produced using ruined books and paper rolls and can be given as a present to your children. General merchants buy the cards.

This little mod adds another clutter/toy item to the game: a deck of playing cards.
It can be produced using ruined books and paper rolls and can be given as a present to your children. General merchants buy the cards.
Note that the mod doesn't add a mini game, just the deck of cards item.
The model is created from scratch. The base texture is taken from Modder's Resource Pack - The Witcher Extension. I liked the idea of a fantasy/Skyrim themed card game so much I extended the given texture of only 6 cards to a full set of cards and created the 3D-model. I'd actually love to see a minigame using the full set, but I'm no programmer. So I can't create it. If anyone is interested to create a card mini game just contact me here. I already have an idea of a simple card game using this set.
The cards can also be used as a modder's resource (as decoration for a children's room, inns or whatever). I give permission for that but please cite my original mod.
Issues?
There should be no issues. However, if you find some just contact me here. I'll see what I can do.
One small immersion issue: You create the cards at the tanning rack. I wanted to use the smithing work bench, but this doesn't work. Unfortunately, the work bench can only be used to improve armor, but not to create new items.
Installation
Copy all files to the data folder.
Or better use a mod manager to do this.
Compatibility
The mod should be compatible with anything. It doesn't change any base game objects.
