For those who would like a bit more information about installation:
-Any AOS or SoS patches that you were previously using for either True Storms, Mythical Ages, or both can be safely replaced by the patches provided here, including my standalone True Storms + Wet&Cold patch. This patch was created to completely merge both mods into one experience, so you can basically think of it as its own weather mod in need of its own patches. -You only need to have ONE of the available four versions loaded, meaning that you should not have both the main version and its respective Water Fix version loaded at the same time, just choose one or the other. The only real difference between these two versions is the fog levels, so if you like having lots of fog in all of your weathers, just stick to the main version. If you would like to tone down the fog levels in your weathers and you are bothered by the blocky water edges that are shown in the screenshots, then I would definitely recommend using the Water Fix version.
Hope that helps! :)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ *ALSO* Just a friendly reminder that there is a bug section. It is 1,000 times easier for authors to fix and keep track of bugs and glitches when you post them in the bug report section, rather than in the comments, so if you find any strange visual glitches or places where the mod isn't working, please post it there instead of in the comments :) It would be greatly appreciated. If you do, please remember to mention what setup you have, which version you are using, and if you are using an ENB. I will continue to try and monitor both the bug section and the comments, but as I release more and more patches it gets hard for me to do so. If I don't get around to answering a bug-related comment, please try posting it in the bug section instead. Thank you!
Up to date for these versions of all related mods:
True Storms SSE - V1.01 **Most likely will not update again anytime soon. Mythical Ages - weathers and lighting overhaul - V1.05 Audio Overhaul SSE - V3.0.0 Sounds of Skyrim Complete SE - V1.6
**I do plan on keeping my patches up to date with the latest versions, but as I have quite a few to manage at this point, I would greatly appreciate any friendly reminders if it seems as though I missed an update :)
For the sake of organization and my sanity I've moved all of the Wet and Cold compatibility options from all of my different patches onto their own page. They are still the exact same plugins, I just needed to make it easier to keep track of them for maintenance purposes, and I also didn't want to make you guys redownload such a small plugin every time I made an update to this patch. All you will need to do is redownload the plugin from the new page and use it as a standalone :) Sorry for the confusion!
Yep! Sorry for the disappearance, I lost access to the internet for a few months there. I'm back though and should have some time to release more updates :)
Ok this is damn frustrating, please help....I downloaded Mythical Ages, thanTrue Storms SE, than the compatability merge patch. Vortex than tells me this patch is redundant. Whether I disable or enable it, Loot keeps telling me I need the patch, damn this annoying. Will uninstall true storms and wait for advice thanks.
I'm not too sure when or why those warnings were added to LOOT, but in this case you can disregard them. I'm don't know why Vortex would flag this plugin as redundant either, so I'm not really sure what to say in that regard, but if you have all three plugins installed and in the correct order then it will work as intended :) It's up to you if you want to disregard those notices or not.
Thanks for this patch! hope you will update it to latest version of AOS 3.2.0 when you have some free time. AOS author updated his plugin for TS and in new version volume sliders working as intended. (previously rain sounds was controlled by 'Ambience') it's not a big issue, just FYI
Thanks for letting me know! :) I'll try to find some time this week to sit down and update all my AOS patches. And very interesting tip-off for the volume sliders, I'll see if I can carry that over.
Is there no fog, no rain in winterhold version of true storms good with this one as well? I know you said you removed them in the patch for Vivid but is it also the case here?
I am considering moving from vivid to mythical ages... I guess Mythical appears to have better lighting and shaders, where as Vivid provides more diverse and interesting weather? Is that about right?
Yes that's the case here as well :) I think you're spot on with that, I definitely prefer the lighting and coloring of Mythical, but Vivid does have a lot more weathers. Although, I would say it's a lot more like hundreds of different variations of the same few weathers more than a ton of distinct, unique weathers, if that makes sense.
