I am the author of Rath's Chainmails and Conversions and while waiting on permissions from various mod authors regarding new armor packs for my mod I decided to cut down on the amount of time that I spend in sseedit changing bodyslots by getting my brother to create script to do it for me.  If you are interested in making your UNP armor mod(more body types are coming soon) compatible with my undersuits this is an invaluable tool to speed up the process.  All torso armor add on and armor files in ssedit need to be converted from 32, or whatever they are currently set at to 57, so that they do not interfere with the chainmails which are set at bodyslot 32.  This script does it for you.  You may select all files in the armor -addon and armor categories, the script will only change body slot values if they include Bodyslot 32, so your gauntlets, boots, etc will not be changed.

After that you need to edit each BSDismemberSkinInstance in the nif of the torso that you are going to modify so that its partitions are also pointing to body slot 57.  Then delete the physical body from underneath the armor mesh by right-clicking on some exposed skin and selecting Block and then Remove Branch.  Your armor should appear empty in the middle similiar to a glove or boot nif.

You do not need to modify gauntlets, helms, or boots for compatibility with my mod, only torso pieces.

My mod does not currently support male armors if you use this tool to change bodyslots of armors that are in levelled lists and male npcs equip them they will appear naked.  You have been warned, best for standalone, craftable armors.
