COMPATIBILITY This mod makes edits to many of the vanilla weapon and armor records. Other mods that change the vanilla weapons or armors may conflict with this mod. The easiest solution is simply to load those other mods after WACCF and allow their changes to overwrite the changes made by WACCF. You may lose some of the bug fixes made by WACCF, but in most cases this will amount only to some slight inconsistencies in an item's price, sounds, or crafting category. A better, but more time-consuming, solution is to open up both mods in SSE.Edit and carry forward any changes from WACCF into the mod overwriting it (or merge the changes from both mods into a separate patch file).
This mod also edits a number of the vanilla leveled lists. If you are using other mods that edit leveled lists, then you will need to create a Bashed Patch to merge the changes to leveled lists. Please also read the information provided in the mod description under Installation concerning the WACCF_BashedPatchLvlListFix file.
Finally, WACCF also edits the Default Object Manager and several of the perks related to weapon damage. Very few mods edit the Default Object Manager, and only mods that directly conflict with WACCF over the exact same part of the DOM record will cause issue. Mods that modify other aspects of the Default Object Manager do not need to have WACCF changes carried forward since these changes will merge at runtime. If using perk mods, you can simply install them after WACCF and allow them to overwrite any changes that WACCF makes to the perks, presumably those mods should include their own bug fixes for these perks.
INTEGRATED COMPATIBILITY Weapons Armor Clothing and Clutter Fixes includes an Integrated Compatibility System. The Integrated Compatibility System requires no additional Master files, and will allow other mod authors to use the new keywords added by this mod without creating a dependency on WACCF. The following article explains how to create compatibility between WACCF and other mods:

COMPATIBILITY NOTES & PATCHES The following is a list of mods that have been reported as either compatible or not compatible with Weapons Armor Clothing & Clutter Fixes.
Once again, please keep in mind that most mods can safely be used with WACCF simply by loading them after WACCF and allowing them to overwrite the changes made by WACCF. In most cases, this will result in a few minor inconsistencies and nothing more. However, for the purposes of the list below, I'm defining "Compatible" in a much stricter sense. If a mod is listed below as "Compatible" this means that all or most of the changes made by WACCF are being carried through and the user will experience few, if any, inconsistencies when using that mod together with WACCF. For the purposes of this list, "Partially Compatible" means that there are significant inconsistencies that will likely be noticeable in game.
Most of the information here has been submitted by other users and/or patch creators. Please contribute by posting in the forum below with updates and additional information.
Fully Compatible(no patch needed): The following mods have been reported as fully compatible with WACCF without needing a patch. Unless otherwise noted, load these mods after WACCF.
Partially Compatible(may need a patch): The following mods have been reported as partially compatible with WACCF. You'll experience significant inconsistencies if you allow these mods to overwrite WACCF without using a patch to carry forward WACCF changes.

I used this in the past with many patches and little or no problems that i was aware of
I have been testing for quite a while now and I am consistently getting skeleton.nif crashes associated with waccf I use 1.5.97, and the most recent waccf file, the lastest ussep possible for 1.5.97... Sometimes the crashes reference the bashed patch and random waccf patches (like economy overhaul/waccf patch) Sometimes references update, waccf and Ussep
I would like to get past this and would prefer to keep Waccf but I cant really understand why it is happening
My best guess is outdated patches I am not looking for a clear definitive answer but if you have any knowledge/guidance to send my way that would be cool ! Thank you !!!
I've tried to look this up before on how to do this and it does not make sense to me the information I get ( i think because they are old posts when things were different)
I'm assuming from what I have read that I use the BBCode, but there are just extra steps in these posts I am reading that I do not understand (or maybe the setup is different now) - - - - - sorry. . . first time
It seems to be more likely an issue or something ive not done right with Xp32/Nemesis/Obody . . .as the probably call stack seems to be consistently the same, I've dug in to all of these to try and figure it out as well . . .it has occurred as well with tera armors as well as others
Ive looked into further & I'm quite sure its an issue with obody ng / racemenu, Ive read their fixes for crashes and will try that !!! . . not an issue with waccf or any armor mod is my belief . . .thank you for the attention !!! . . .just me putting this out there to you helped me find the right path (hopefully)
I use the old CT77's Remodeled Armor and Clothing. The problem is robes that have had that script swap to reference the non hooded version. Which ever FormID i use, the tanning rack won't give me the option to craft the remodeled equivalent. Is there a way for me to patch this?
The standalone version, I'm assuming? Give this a try and let me know if it solves the issue for you; I'll probably fully patch it for WACCF and CCOR SE when I have the time, but this should address any issues with the robes in the meantime. If you're using the "Remodeled Armor - CCOR.esp" file, load it before this patch.
Oh you are just the best! I will give this a try once I get my monitor issue resolved. Thank you bro! and yes it’s for the stand alone version, not the replacer. No CCOR.
UPDATE 4-17-24: Vortex is telling me "Missing master Remodeled Armor - Dragonborn.esp". I'm not sure where to find this. BTW I am using the older NON 3ba version of CT77's remodeled armor because nobody has successfully converted the outfits for vanilla, IA, Bruma clothing and armors yet.
I removed and cleaned for master "Remodeled Armor - Dragonborn.esp" and it does restore most of the craftables. Some that are not restored are Farmclothes var1 and 2. Not a whole lot.
Hey I thank you for all you've done so far! If ever you complete the patch, that would be the next thing I download. Till then, this is the next best thing once you remove the unnecessary master.
Is this the version you're using? Because it mentions "Remodeled Armor - Dragonborn.esp" as being required (which is one of the plugins included in the standalone version from here). If not, could you please link to the version you're using, and identify which files specifically?
Yes its the old CT77 remodeled armor that doesn't use 3BA however he did upload a combined version when Special edition came out that no longer has seperate DLC plugins. Old version here. scroll down and its version 1.21. No dragonborn/dawngaurd/hearthfire. its all in one.
I'm getting disappearing torsos from some light armor cuirasses. But when I check the cuirass in xEdit, the only other mod touching it is Unlimited bookshelves, and I don't see any conflicts.
However I'm also using some other mods I would expect to touch the cuirass, like Armor Variants Expansion, and Warmth - Light Armor Replacer. So I'm quite confused by what I'm seeing in xEdit. Can you please shed any light into whats going on?
Incompatible with any Dragon Priest Mask modes. Really need patches because the masks are one of the most terrible texture/function in the game. The texture of the hoods overleaps (my eyes are bleeding) a lot of armor and some of the enchants are absolutely usless/not unique at all.
WACCF doesn't make any edits to the Dragon Priest Mask meshes or textures, so as long as you load any mods editing the mask Armor/Armor Addon records after WACCF, you shouldn't have any visual issues (and if you do, another mod is responsible). The same would also apply to any enchantments.
That said, I'm happy to make patches for any mods that need them.
Spend a whole day (16) hours testing different game versions and configurations.
Last game version working with Hoodless dragon priest mask HDPM and YOUR mode with no issues is 1.6.318. Still the weight/armor type changes are being reverted (sadly). I have tried all config/load-order rules.
All newer game versions might and might not work out.
Do not know how many people would appreciate HDPM patch. I would definitelly. Otar as light armor is excellent idea.
HDPM works with DP 4k retexture SE after patch and many others.
PS: 1.6.318 is last game version which has no problems with any mod. Found out in the process so I keep it.
Well done for testing, however if you are going to spend that much time, just install SSEEdit to see at a glance what is being changed and then you can patch and tweak any settings you desire. It will be much quicker. That's pretty much how we all started to learn how to mod. Cheers
Love the work and effort that goes into WACCF and I really want to use it to the fullest.
Forget you saw anything. I am a dum-dum and forgot to go back and reinstall and check for the patch for WACCF. Anyways hope you all are doing well and ty for this and many other mods <3
I'd like to note that this is not compatible with Modernize because of the adjustments it makes to armor meshes not working with the adjustments that Modernize makes. At the best case scenario I got it to work but things like the Apprentice Mage Robes would have severely mismatched textures (hood wouldn't match the main robe, and neither would match the satchel texture.)
WACCF actually changes very few meshes (it doesn't touch the Mage Robes meshes, for example). The problem with Modernize is that it uses CBBE meshes as base, which themselves have a different internal structure than the vanilla meshes, which breaks texture sets applied to those meshes. While WACCF (but more so its companion mod, ACE) does make use of texture sets, as you can see from the screenshot below, they are also used in vanilla Skyrim.
I believe there's at least one CBBE patch out there which does address this, but it wouldn't include Modernize's other changes (like SMP).
So I am getting some NPC with no clothes here and there, Farengar being the most prominent, could it be a bug from this mod and are there any common known fixes?
It's more likely to be related to Armor and Clothing Extension, if you're using that. Usually caused by another mod overwriting WACCF or ACE's changes, but could be SPID related if you're using the ACE SPID patch.
So I think this occurred when I started using ACE + ACE SPID patch, it matches my install date. I did disable the ACE SPID patch due to issues in my mod list and it seems to be fixed. However I do have a lot of armor adding mods and SPID mods that overlap here and there, so most likely it is indeed me adding so much causing it, I have not fine tuned outfits everyone is currently clothed! so that's good, need to fine tune my setup though, so many armor mods!
Glad to hear disabling the SPID patch fixed it. I see there's some reports on the ACE page of the SPID patch no longer working, which I'll look into when I have some time (probably next week).
