Overview
I quite like the design of vanilla robes, however it’s always annoyed me that almost all of them are dirty, even Arch-Mage’s robes! And both master and Arch-Mage’s robes are mostly grey and don’t feel unique enough compared to other college robes. I changed the colours to be more distinctive, and added a few details to make the robes look nicer. Black and necromancer robes and fine boots have been replaced with a darker and clean version, and both black and blue robes have the pattern of Vaermina robes added to make them look more interesting. Court wizard robes are also more blue, and the hood has a light trim to fit them better. Other hoods and boots have been changed accordingly to fit the new robes. I also replaced the grey hood to match Vaermina robes; this is designed to be used with Separate Hoods and More. Both purple and black hood will also match master robes. I didn’t change other college robes as those aren’t too bad with dirt, however I might clean them too if there’s a need.
How to pick and choose
This mod contains loose texture files, so if you like some of the changes but not the others (for example you use grey robes and don’t want your hood to suddenly turn purple), simply delete the file you don’t want. Most folder and file names are obvious, here’s a list of the less clear ones:
Grey hood – textures\clothes\monk\hood_color3.dds
Master robes – textures\clothes\magejourneyman\f\robes_variant1.dds and textures\clothes\magejourneyman\m\robe_variant1.dds
Black mage textures are under textures\clothes\warlock.
