While I really do appreciate the premise of this effort, 5 plugins is too many to create variety in weather: 1. Obsidian plugin 2. Wander plugin 3. True Storms plugin 4. Your mod 5. Your patch for True Storms
I would suggest approaching the authors of these mods and get permission to include the aspects that you require in your mod within a single .esp. Then if it takes off, ENB preset developers will likely create presets for your new mod.
It should work with vanilla weathers. All new weather types are not covered (yet). I never really bothered with the "Seasons" feature from Obsidian, that's why it's not covered by the Kyne's initial release. I'll probably update the script in future.
This will not work as intended, Obsidian has it's own script for the season, even if you put a small chance to the added weathers to work they will appear in a wrong season and they will have an higher chance to appear over other weather controlled by the script, basicly you added new weather meteos to regions ( as vanilla system work), but this is not how Obsidian work and there would be no reason to add new weather if you break the season feature of Obsidian, this is the reason you should rebuild in total the script...i'm not critizing your work, i think it's a nice concept you have here and i'm sure many users would even give a F... about to see snow in summer (cause no one ever understood how seasons work), but this was the reason Season has been introduced by Obsidian to give a different thing from vanilla, if you want i can help you with that
Like I said earlier. I never bothered with seasons from Obsidian or other similar mods. It's not something why I'm using weather mods in the first place... or the second place. For me, it's just another feature, not noticeable for most of the people. That's why I don't even touched it. I'll probably do it in future anyway, when I'll be bored. But if someone want to do this for me - feel free. Upload it on your own or send me the files.

You're aware that this is basically a really big patch that allows you to use Obsidian, Wander and True Storms together, right? That was the whole purpose of it. I was never interested in the sesons feature, because it's a pointless thing for me. And like I said in other post - I'll probably do the seasons in future, but right now I don't really want to.
Yeah but Your mod says KYNE'S Weathers and SEASONS? where is the season if you don't care about it? where's the season if you break and alter the one from Obsidian? It maybe a pointless thing for you but maybe it's not for people that use Obsidian cause of that feature
Then don't use my patch? If someone is using Obsidian specifically for this one feature (I don't really think that someone like this exist), then he won't use Kyne's.
*raises hand* I use Obsidian over other weathers mainly because of its seasons feature. If you combo it with the Seasons mod for Frostfall with seasonal temperature variations, it becomes more believable even without the landscape changes and makes survival more interesting (if that sort of thing is interesting to you in the first place, that is). Anywho, I still appreciate the effort of making these all work nicely together. There are so many great options it's really hard to choose one. Obviously do what seems right for your mod, but If you DID incorporate the seasons at some point, I'd be stoked :)

Man made some cool megapatch and called it the way he wanted, there's a lot of mods on the Nexus called nowhere close to what they actually are yet people don't go crazy about it. If people are so dumb they install mod based on the name only and don't bother to get into details on the description page, maybe this mod and possibly modding is not for them? I always find it funny when people argue about something that is offered for free and what is not forced to be downloaded in the first place, so just use it or pass on it. Authors tend to loose courage in releasing something after someone presses them hard for such a stupid thing like complaining about mod's name. Let it live and see how it evolves, a one simple comment about misleading name is far enough for author to consider changing the name or adding seasons feature, no need to go crazy and start arguing with someone who doesn't own you anything.
Not going crazy...sure is free and what else and i find it a great idea of patch, it kinda bother me when try to sell something for what is not, expecially when author in primis doesn't care about this mod i will not care for him and his work and really i don't have anything against Mnikjom of course and i kinda respect his idea, i just think it would be more correct to explain how the mod really work for now, till eventually he will be bored to produce the complete seasons script, peace
The name does create confusion, that's all. After reading the title I had to read up to see which features are missing cause I knew patching up weather mods doesn't always fully work. But I like this mod.
The mod isn't bad overall but there are certain weathers I would cut out because they cause unpleasant issues, like glowing water foam or weird nighttime tree lighting.
in addition the the instructed obsidian and wander files, or are all the others rolled into kyne's wasn't sure if to treat this as a patch up or a standalone
Does this mod work with just Obsidian Weather?? or do I need Wander weathers and seasons as well?? and I have ELFX and the Weathers esp is enable so do I need to disable it for these two mods (Obsidian and Kynes Weathers...) to work seamlessly??? TY!
Curious however if this mod has seasons or not. It's in the title but reddit says they are absent. I also like fog hiding LOD and want to add supreme fog for obsidian but not sure if that will conflict with Wander. (or if there is already plenty of fog :) )
Switched to dense settings on volumetric mists which makes fog really good with this.
