What is the glitch and What this mod does: In Windhelm, there are several spots that are suffered from the occlusion of wrong objects, which is derived from wrongly placed plane markers. As far as I've checked, there are 5 obvious spots.
1. The roof of Temple of Talos disappears at the corner of Windhelm Blacksmith.
2. The right top side of Windhelm City Gate disappears in front of the Palace of the Kings.
3. A part of the mountain disappears at a certain spot behind Candlehearth Hall.
4. Another part of the moundtain disappears at a certain different spot behind Candlehearth Hall.
5. The roof of the Palace of the Kings disappears when you stand on the top of Niranye's Market Stall. (thanks to Spawnkiller for reporting glitches 3~5)
This mod fixes these occlusion glitches by removing all plane markers from Windhelm - main version.
There is also a lite version that only slightly reduces the size of several plane markers related to these specific 5 glitches - lite version.
Requirements: Up-to-date version of Skyrim SE(1.5.97+) recommended. But theoretically it works with any version including 1.5.80.
Script Free.
No need for SKSE.
Performance Issue: Your PC will render a few more objects in Windhelm than it does without this mod. For both of main and lite version. So theoretically there is a chance that you find a slight fps drop according to where you walk, or how heavy your modded environment is. But vanilla Skyrim should have already done these additional renderings. You can check whether the mod causes a visible fps difference by yourself. It is really a case by case.
Compatibility: Compatible with almost all mods.
Compatible with latest Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch. *USSEP itself does not include this bug fix.
Compatible with Culling Data Glitch Fix. *Culling Data Glitch Fix itself does not include this fix.
Compatible with SMIM.
Compatible with Retexture Mods.
Compatible with major City Overhaul Mods EX - JK's Skyrim / JK's Windhelm *JK's Skyrim / JK's Windhelm itself does not include this bug fix. *My mod may even fix new occlusion glitches derived from these Overhauls. *Open Cities Skyrim - DOES NOT NEED my mod. It's redundant. It already solved the problem in its own way.
Notices: I strongly recommend the main version. It may have a slight fps drop at a few specific spots in Windhelm. But it fundamentally removes any opportunity to generate this kind of wrong occlusion, including ones that are derived from additional objects added by other mods.
Main version(9kb one) is ESMified esl. Lite version now includes the fix for JK's Skyrim barrels previously existed in the optional files section, and is now esl-flagged esp. In the optional files section, you can download the .esp versions.
