The scene with Deor and Fanari talking about Baldor (which enables Deor's dialogue and the quest) might get stuck. They keep facing each other... silently..... forever.......

In case of failure, asking Fanari 'Did I overhear that someone is missing?' starts the quest and they can go back to their business.
If all goes well in the first place and you don't get the bug, this doesn't change anything and all proceeds as usual.
