Welcome to Crafting Matters A mod that adds much more to your Skyrim crafting experience, not by altering the smithing perk tree. But by fleshing out and enriching the experience of crafting. Crafting Matters is a smithing overhaul that allows you to break down weapons, armor, & mundane items into its components. Become a tailor and make all the clothes you couldn't. You can make tools and other miscellaneous items, that might be made useful with other mods. Become a jeweler with expanding jewelry which can be found throughout Skyrim, as well as enchanted items.
Smelting Ore Smelting ore now requires 2 ore to create 1 ingot, regardless of its type. Also, you can now make steel from iron & charcoal.
Tanning Rack & Smelter Experience! You now gain experience from using the Tanning Rack (you gain 30% of the normal xp you might get crafting at a forge), and from the smelter at one tenth the normal rate.
Tailoring Become a tailor and make clothes! You can make Linen and Linen Lace with various materials, for helping in the construction of clothes.
Breakdown Recipes A mod that adds much more to your Skyrim crafting experience. It's a smithing overhaul allowing you to break down weapons, armor, & mundane items.
New item Recipes. Make new items such as Silver Bows & Arrows, Unique Backpacks that have a more rustic appearance, thanks to Sheepswirl. Create normal mundane items such as tools, baskets, and other items. Turning glass into bottles (smelter). You can now craft basic dining utensils. As well as other domestic items, such as pots, pans, brooms, shovels, and rakes (forge or tanning rack depending on construction). So it's now Crafting Matters, fits in with Weapons of Clutter better. Which in turn means getting XP for making things other than weapons and armor.
Become a Jeweler! Jewelers will now have expanded Jewelry to make in the higher tiered metals (thanks to Lautasantenni). As well as Circlets (thanks to amrasanarion). Enchanted Jewelry is also now added to leveled jewelry lists to find throughout the world. Thanks to garyman182.
Compatibility Built in WACCF Support, which in turn adjusts the economy of crafting matters.
