Mistwatch faces you with a dilemma that I've always found somehow lacking: if you agree to help Fjola, you can pick between two equally suitable lies to tell her husband; if you opt to kill her, on the other hand, you can only tell him the truth and kill him in the ensuing fight (or calm him with a spell, and at *that* point you'll remember how to lie to his face). Why? Why should killing the bandit lady turn you into a truth-compelled idiot? To fix this, I made a small dialogue edit that lets you lie to Christer regardless to your previous choice.
