Inspiration-

For years High-Res Dartwing was one of the first little mods I would  install!  Why?, because it makes the biggest differences out of any single texture upgrade!!  The vanilla dartwing textures are only 64 x 64 pixels for the body and 64 x 128 for the wings. (highly recommended if you just want better texture for vanilla dartwings to match CACO without the high poly meshes)

 Fast forward many years, we have a new Skyrim(Se), better hardware, better modding tools ( even I made a mod ) and a slew of talented modders, making all kinds of high poly count, high res  models and textures.

 The blocky 150ish poly Dartwings started to look alittle outdated to me, compared to everything else.  Luck would have it Aviform made Improved Dragonfly.  A mod that replaced the two vanilla dartwings with high quality, high poly ones.  Beautiful textures appropriate for a critter this size ( no 8K dartwings )!!  For me it was an instant download!

 When looking for new mods, to change up my game a bit I came across Kryptopyr's CACO.  A mod which adds alot of new items to the game and freshens up alchemy a bit.  I installed it and and ran to Arcadia's Cauldron to see what she had new instock.....................short answer..............2 dead mangled dartwings on her counter. 

 Time for a patch!! I thought.........I sure hope someone makes a patch!?!?.........Anybody????

 Well here we are...... fixing CACO trying to apply its textures to Aviform meshes takes a few seconds in xEdit, but not everyone wants or knows how to do it.  What about the new DF? Can't have hi-poly and lo-poly DF all mixed together, that would break something far more important than immersion, my obsessive compulsiveness!

 Since I'm a professional caveman with google at my fingertips, I tried to squash this bug with my club so I could get back to chasing those fast little critters.


Requirements-

Improved Dragonfly by Aviform

Without it your blue and orange dartwing will be vanilla ( low poly/texture ).


Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul by Kryptopyr

Without it you have no reason to download this mod,  the new dartwings will not be added to your game, so nothing to replace.


Installation-

Install this mod after Improved Dragonfly, let it overwrite. (just one file to apply my eye effect)

This mods loose files should overwrite Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul. 

If using a mod manager where installation order matters or are not familiar with mixing mods. Install CACO first following the directions on the mods page and make sure it works with your mods. It is a big mod that does alot of stuff! Install ID, than mine. Both are only loose texture and mesh replacers, no esp.


Uninstall-

Uncheck the box, look at the file tree on the downloads page and delete those files to free up 9.3mb of sweet SSD space.

Safe to install/uninstall at any time.

Thanks for granting me permission to post my mod which uses some of your mods assets. All the work was done by them, I just used my sausage fingers to push buttons on a keyboard , and dragged a mouse around to color by numbers. This mod would absolutely not exists without it.

Without it my mod wouldn't do anything, except use up your precious SSD space.

3 Brain cells I have left.
2 sausage fingers to press keys one by one.
Mod Organizer 2 because it has an idiot light and tells me what I did wrong.
Paint.net because MO2 auto installed it.
7-zip because it turns one boring file into alot of little exciting files and put everything back.
BAE because those BSA files are a hard thing to crack.
NifSkope because I see it listed in all the good modders, mod pages.
My caveman club to smash stuff that upsets me.
