Changelogs
Version 0.2
now esl flagged. Also added a version that only removes eye adaptation, not bloom.
A very simple mod that disables HDR "eye adaptation" and bloom from all vanilla and DLC imagespace records. It does this by setting the following values for all vanilla "HNAM - HDR" records:
Eye Adapt Speed to "50"
All "Bloom" values to "0" (I know this is crude, but it works)
Eye Adapt Strenght to "0"
This removes 100% of bloom effects, and 100% of the HDR eye adaptation lag effect, but still leaves in place a very small amount of lag-free eye adaptation effect. Oh well...
There is also an optional version that only removes eye adaptation but does not remove bloom.
I know there are other mods that cover this already, but they either don't work for me, or have serious flaws (like not even carrying forward the official "Update.esm" changes!), so here you go, another mod.
Safe to install and uninstall during a playthrough.
This mod is not compatible with lighting/weather mods that make extensive imagespace edits. "True Storms" and "Darker Nights" are fully compatible as they make no imagespace edits.
If you want a full-featured weather mod that also has no laggy HDR effects, and very little bloom, I strongly recommend my new weather mod: RAID Weathers
